Copa Del Café
The Copa del Café (Coffee Bowl) is an ITF Grade 1 tennis tournament played every January in San José, Costa Rica. The tournament is part of a junior circuit backed by the International Tennis Federation The International Tennis Federation (ITF) is the governing body of world tennis, wheelchair tennis, and beach tennis. It was founded in 1913 as the International Lawn Tennis Federation by twelve national tennis associations. As of 2016, there ... and supported by the tennis federations of many countries. The tournament was started in 1965 with a group of tennis players at the Costa Rica Country Club. They formed an Organizing Committee, staffed by volunteer club members. Over the years the tournament has become more prestigious and international. Jan Rune Källqvist (born 31 March 1958) is a Swedish former tennis player who was active in the 1970s. Career Källqvist played in his first Grand Prix event as a sixteen-year-old at the 1974 Stockholm Open. He lost in the first round to the Colombian, twelve years his senior, Iván Molina. In partnership with Ulf Eriksson he also competed in the doubles draw and lost in the first round. Källqvist participated in the singles draw at thirteen Grand Prix tournaments and lost in the first round on each occasion. Sandra Wasserman (born 10 March 1970) is a former professional tennis player from Antwerp, Belgium. Fed Cup Wasserman became Belgium's youngest Fed Cup player when she lost to Csilla Bartos of Hungary in October 1985 in Japan. She also lost the longest tie-break played by the Belgian Fed Cup team, losing 13–11 to Jennifer Capriati of the United States in 1990 in Atlanta, Georgia after losing the first set 6–0. Karmen Škulj
Carmen Wiedenmann (born 25 November 1967) is a Slovenian former professional tennis player. During her career she represented Yugoslavia and was known by her birth name Karmen Škulj. Biography Škulj comes from a family with a history in tennis. Two uncles Aleksander and Borut both played competitively and her aunty Irena competed for Yugoslavia in the Federation Cup. The Škulj Tenis Center in Dobrova was established by the family. From 1986 to 1988, Škulj appeared in a total of eight ties for the Yugoslavia Federation Cup team. She also represented Yugoslavia at the 1989 Hopman Cup, where she teamed up with Slobodan Živojinović. Škulj has a niece, Maja Živec-Škulj, who played on the WTA Tour in the 1990s. Andrea Holíková (born 15 January 1968) is a former Czechoslovak tennis player. She comes from the family of successful hockey players – she is the daughter Jaroslav Holík, the elder sister of Bobby Holík, and the niece of Jiří Holík. Holíková is married to former hockey player František "Frank" Musil. Holíková was a very successful junior player. In 1985, she won the Wimbledon Championships and reached the final of the US Open. Luca Bottazzi (born 1 April 1963) is a former professional tennis player from Italy. Career Bottazzi was twice a quarter-finalist in the French Open boys' singles during his junior career, in both 1980 and 1981.
