Constant Hitmaker
''Constant Hitmaker'' is the debut studio album by American indie rock musician Kurt Vile, released in 2008 on Gulcher Records and Woodsist. Self-produced, and recorded between 2003 and 2007, the album is primarily composed of lo-fi home recordings that Vile had previously issued on CD-R. Following the album's release, Vile stated that ''Constant Hitmaker'' is "like a best-of, sort of, but leaning toward the psychedelic pop stuff, kind of my later material." Background and recording The majority of the album's tracks are home recordings, however, the album's opening track, "Freeway", was recorded at Miner Street studios with producer Brian McTear. Sore Eros
Sore Eros is an American indie band started by Robert Robinson around the early 2000s in Connecticut. Branded as lo-fi, pop music with psychedelic elements. In 2007 Robinson began collaborating with a long lost friend, Adam Langellotti which soon became their first official release, Second Chants. Sore Eros is now an equally collective effort incorporating Jeff Morkeski on lead guitar and Matt Jugenheimer on drums. Sore Eros has been working on a new full-length album with Adam Granduciel of The War on Drugs producing. This project has been in the works for several years. ''Street Hassle'' is the eighth solo studio album by American musician Lou Reed, released in February 1978 by Arista Records. Richard Robinson and Reed produced the album. Clockcleaner was a punk band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,USA, named after a particular "hot bag" of heroin that was distributed in Philadelphia in the 1980s. The band consists of John Sharkey III on vocals/guitar, Karen Horner on 6-string bass guitar, and Richie Charles Jr on drums. The trio has drawn comparisons to The Birthday Party, Big Black, Bauhaus, Flipper and even harsh noise band Whitehouse. Their influences have been cited as including Crucifucks, Modern English, Cro-Mags, GG Allin, Neil Young and the first Skrewdriver LP. Formed in summer 2003, Clockcleaner released an LP called ''The Hassler'' on the now defunct Philadelphia label Manic Ride Records.
