Conquer Divide
Conquer Divide is an American rock band whose members are from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada, with one former member coming from Serbia. History 2013-2017 The band was formed in Michigan by guitarist and songwriter Kristen Sturgis along with Suzie Reagan. The lineup initially began as a five-piece with the addition of bassist Sarah Stonebraker, drummer Tamara Tadic and singer Kiarely Castillo in 2013. On March 1, 2014, Conquer Divide announced that they had recruited Liverpool based YouTube guitarist Izzy Johnson to become a member, making it a six-piece. A short time later, Suzie was let go and replaced by Texas based vocalist Janel Duarte. Although their official biography featured on the Artery Recordings website states that they were formed in 2013, the concept for the band had existed since about 2005 according to their producer Joey Sturgis. MetalSucks is a heavy metal music-themed news website. The site features reviews, interviews, information on latest metal releases and blog-like posts from the writers, most notably Vince Neilstein and Axl Rosenberg. History The site was founded in December 2006 by authors Ben Umanov and Matthew Goldenberg who use the pen names Vince Neilstein and Axl Rosenberg. In April 2009, MetalSucks was awarded Metal Hammer's Web of Death Award for "Best Reviews" for its "honest, insightful, unpretentious – and fun – reviews." On October 4, 2009, one of the writers for MetalSucks was accused of leaking the album ''Axe to Fall'' by Converge onto the internet prior to its official release. The Color Morale is an American metalcore band from Rockford, Illinois, formed in 2007. The band includes vocalist/keyboardist Garret Rapp, guitarists Devin King and Aaron Saunders, bassist Mike Honson, and drummer Steve Carey. In This Moment is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed by singer Maria Brink and guitarist Chris Howorth in 2005. They found drummer Jeff Fabb and started the band as Dying Star. South By Southwest
South by Southwest, abbreviated as SXSW and colloquially referred to as South By, is an annual conglomeration of parallel film, interactive media, and music festivals and Convention (meeting), conferences organized jointly that take place in mid-March in Austin, Texas, United States. Denis Alexandrovich Shaforostov ( uk, Денис Олександрович Шафоростов; born 4 May 1992), also known by his stage name Denis Stoff, is a Ukrainian singer, best known for his work as a guitarist and singer of the Ukrainian metalcore group Make Me Famous. He also replaced Danny Worsnop as lead singer of the British rock band Asking Alexandria, during Worsnop's 18-month hiatus from the band. Shaforostov's music career began with his YouTube channel "above92", where he posted vocal and guitar covers of his favorite songs.
