I See Stars are an American electronicore band from Warren, Michigan formed in 2006. The band currently consists of lead vocalist Devin Oliver, guitarist Brent Allen, keyboardist and co-vocalist Andrew Oliver, and bass guitarist Jeff Valentine. Their first album, '' 3-D'' (2009), peaked at No. 176 on the ''Billboard'' 200. Their second album, ''The End of the World Party'', was released on February 22, 2011. The band's third studio album, ''Digital Renegade'', was released on March 13, 2012, which demonstrated a stylistic change, featuring a more aggressive musical style than their prior albums. The band also appeared on the song, "Beauty and the Beast", by Dubstep producer BARE. The band's fourth studio album, ''New Demons'', was released October 22, 2013, which featured elements of EDM while achieving an even further aggressive style than ''Digital Renegade''. New Demons
''New Demons'' is the fourth studio album by American electronicore band I See Stars, released on October 22, 2013 through Sumerian Records. The album was originally set for release on August 13, before being pushed back to September 17, and again to October 22 for unknown reasons. The album marks a progression of the sound in their previous album '' Digital Renegade'', with Zach Johnson having a much bigger vocal role, as well as having a much more prominent EDM sound. The song "Violent Bounce" was the first single to be released. It was uploaded to YouTube via the Sumerian Records channel. "Murder Mitten" and the title track, "New Demons", were to follow. The band did performances of the song "Ten Thousand Feet" to give fans a taste of what is going to be on the rest of the album before its release. ''Digital Renegade'' (stylized as '' igital_renegade') is the third studio album by American electronicore band I See Stars. It was released on March 13, 2012 through Sumerian Records. It features guest vocals by Danny Worsnop from the English metalcore band Asking Alexandria and Cassadee Pope from the American rock band Hey Monday. As opposed to the band's first two records, ''Digital Renegade'' features a heavier metalcore sound with stronger use of electronics and synthesizers. Additionally, Devin Oliver's clean vocals appear less frequently on the album; only two songs feature him singing predominantly lead, "Digital Renegade" and "Electric Forest". The album received generally positive reviews from music critics, who commended its heavier sound compared to the band's previous material. ''The End of the World Party'' is the second studio album by American electronicore band I See Stars. It was released on February 22, 2011 through Sumerian Records. Background The album was first announced to be in the works on October 8, 2010, through a statement posted by AbsolutePunk. The album was not mentioned again until the release of a video update on Sumerian Records' YouTube page, released on November 6, 2010. The title track of the album, "The End of the World Party", was released on December 6, 2010, and the song could be unlocked by "liking" the Sumerian Records Facebook page. The track list was announced on January 14, 2011. The album's release date of February 22, 2011 was announced through I See Stars' Merch Connection Inc. page, where they released pre-order packages on January 15, 2011. Phases (I See Stars Album)
''Phases'' is the third remix album by electronicore band I See Stars, released through Sumerian Records on August 28, 2015. The album features "raw and unplugged" versions of some of the band's previously recorded material, as well as some cover songs. The album is entirely composed of acoustic guitars and basses, pianos, and stringed instruments accompanied by Devin and Andrew Oliver's singing, in place of the screaming, breakdowns, and electronics typically used by the band. On September 25, 2015, the band embarked on the ''Phases'' tour in promotion of the album. Appropriately, the tour only featured the versions of songs performed on ''Phases'' and did not feature the entire band, leading to departure rumors of keyboardist and unclean vocalist Zach Johnson and guitarist Jimmy Gregerson. Vans Warped Tour
The Warped Tour was a traveling rock tour that toured the United States plus three or four stops in Canada annually each summer from 1995 until 2019. It was the largest traveling music festival in the United States and the longest-running touring music festival to date in North America. Following the first Warped Tour, the skateboard shoe manufacturer Vans became the tour’s main sponsor, when it then became known as the Vans Warped Tour. Vans toured Australia in 1998-2002 and again in 2013. Screaming is an extended vocal technique that is popular in "aggressive" music genres such as heavy metal, punk rock, and noise music and others. It is common in the more extreme subgenres of heavy metal, such as death and black metal as well as many other subgenres. Emarosa ( ) is an American rock band formed in Lexington, Kentucky, in 2006. The band currently consists of lead guitarist and founding member ER White and lead vocalist Bradley Walden, who joined the band in 2013. The group has undergone several line-up changes throughout its career, with lead guitarist ER White being the sole remaining founding member. Originally oriented towards post-hardcore and alternative rock, Emarosa has gravitated towards a more pop rock sound in recent years.
