Beartooth (band)
Beartooth is an American hardcore punk band formed by Caleb Shomo in Columbus, Ohio, in 2012. They have been signed to Red Bull Records since 2013. Their debut EP ''Sick (EP), Sick'' was released on July 26, 2013, followed by their debut full-length album ''Disgusting (album), Disgusting'' on June 10, 2014. Their second album ''Aggressive (album), Aggressive'' was released on June 3, 2016. Their third album ''Disease (Beartooth album), Disease'' was released on September 28, 2018. Their fourth album ''Below (album), Below'' was released on June 25, 2021. History Formation and ''Sick'' (2012–2014) Caleb Shomo began writing Beartooth songs while he was still in Attack Attack!. His project was originally called "Noise," but was switched to Beartooth upon realization the name was already taken. Elbriot (''Elbe riot'') is an annual open air music festival in Hamburg, Germany, which features rock music, rock, heavy metal music, heavy metal and hardcore punk bands. It is organized by ''Hamburg Konzerte'' agency. History The festival takes place on the compound of the Hamburg Wholesale Market. The first edition of the festival was sold out completely in a very short time with 14,000 tickets. It faced some organizational problems partly due to the high number of visitors, such as unnecessary barriers or lack of supply of drinks. In the subsequent years, a revised approach was introduced, such as a changed entrance situation and fewer barriers. ''Below'' is the fourth studio album by American hardcore punk band Beartooth. The album was released on June 25, 2021, through Red Bull Records. It was produced by Caleb Shomo and Oshie Bichar. A deluxe edition of ''Below'' was released on March 18, 2022, with an additional 20 tracks. Background and promotion On June 23, 2020, Shomo said that the band's fourth album, which he referred to as "LP4", was being recorded at Capital House Studio in Ohio. On December 8, Shomo stated on a Twitch stream in that he was "aiming for an album release by spring 2021" and that singles would "definitely" be released before then. On March 19, 2021, the band surprise released a new song called "Devastation" which saw their sound deviate from their metalcore roots, in favour of a hard rock/heavy metal feel. The band consists of Rob Damiani (lead vocals), Simon Delaney (guitar), Tom Doyle (bass and programming) and Matt Donnelly (drums, lead and backing vocals). Vanna was an American hardcore punk band from Boston, Massachusetts, that was formed in 2004. On December 15, 2017, the band played their final show at the Worcester Palladium. The band's sound has been described as furious and cathartic, changing over time from screamo to metalcore to post-hardcore, with some songs showing emo or melodic metalcore elements.
