Connor Rozee
Connor Rozee (born 22 January 2000) is a professional Australian rules footballer who plays for the Port Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was recruited by Port Adelaide with the 5th draft pick in the 2018 AFL Draft. Early life Rozee was born in Port Augusta, South Australia. He participated in the Auskick program at Port Augusta and played junior football with Spencer Gulf Football League (SGFL) club South Augusta. In 2016, he won the Kevin Sheehan Medal as the best player of the Under 16 AFL National Championship while also winning South Australia's Most Valuable Player award. Rozee played for South Australia in the AFL Under 18 Championships but was not pleased with his performance. Australian football, also called Australian rules football or Aussie rules, or more simply football or footy, is a contact sport played between two teams of 18 players on an oval field, often a modified cricket ground. 2019 AFL Season
The 2019 AFL season was the 123rd season of the Australian Football League (AFL), the highest level senior men's Australian rules football competition in Australia, which was known as the Victorian Football League until 1989. AFL Draft Combine
The AFL Draft Combine, formerly known as the AFL Draft Camp, is a gathering of prospective talent, where selected potential draftees display their athletic prowess and relevant Australian rules football skills. Over four days participants are required to undergo a series of medical, psychomotor, athletic and fitness tests as well as interviews conducted by the 18 clubs in the Australian Football League. The first AFL Draft Camp was held in 1994 at Waverley Park; in 1999 it moved to Canberra, where it was hosted by the Australian Institute of Sport, and in 2011 it was moved to Docklands Stadium. Josh Carr
Joshua Carr (born 29 April 1980) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Port Adelaide Football Club and Fremantle Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was drafted by the Port Adelaide Football Club in the 1998 AFL Draft and made his debut for the club in 2000. After playing in the Power's 2004 premiership side, he returned to Western Australia in 2005 to play for the Fremantle Football Club, where he played alongside his elder brother Matthew Carr for four seasons. He returned to Port Adelaide in 2009 and played a further two seasons before retiring at the end of the 2010 season. After his retirement, Carr continued on with the Power as an assistant coach between 2011 and 2015. He then coached SANFL club from 2016 to 2019, leading the club to the SANFL premiership in 2018. The Spencer Gulf Football League is an Australian rules football competition based at the head of the Spencer Gulf in South Australia. It is an affiliated member of the South Australian National Football League.
