''Connecticut Casual'' is the fourth studio album by American hip hop recording artist Apathy. It was released on June 3, 2014 through Demigodz Records and Dirty Version. The album is mostly produced by Apathy, along with other producers, such as Da Beatminerz on the first track of the same name as the album, Teddy Roxpin, Smoke the World on "The Grand Leveler", and The Doppelgangaz on "Beefin' Over Bitches" (which features Kappa Gamma on the track). Apathy (rapper)
Chad Bromley (born March 8, 1979), better known by his stage name Apathy (formerly "The Alien Tongue"), is a rapper and producer from Willimantic, Connecticut. His first major release was his debut album; '' Eastern Philosophy'' in March 2006 with guest appearances from Celph Titled, Ryu, and Blue Raspberry. His second album '' Wanna Snuggle?'' was released in 2009 and his third studio album '' Honkey Kong'' was released in 2011, both to critical acclaim. His fourth studio album, '' Connecticut Casual'' was released on June 3, 2014 and reached #41 in the R&B/Hip Hop Albums charts. Demigodz Records
Demigodz are an American Hip hop music, hip hop collective founded by Connecticut rappers Open Mic and Reflex. The group was originally named "The Nobility" but Open Mic renamed the group "The Demigodz" with inspiration from one of his own verses. The group has changed several times through the years. As of 2012, the group consists of; Apathy (rapper), Apathy, Celph Titled, Ryu, Esoteric (rapper), Esoteric, Motive, & Blacastan. The group was originally formed in 1990 by Connecticut emcees Open Mic and Reflex. Apathy joined the group after hearing a demo on the University of Connecticut radio station 91.7. The group expanded during the 1990s to include several other members, and they took frequent outings to New York City in order to expose themselves to the East Coast hip hop scene. Da Beatminerz are a hip-hop production crew from Bushwick, Brooklyn, and are known for their dark, gritty sound that is very popular with the underground hip-hop scene. History The crew, originally composed of brothers Mr. Walt (born June 2, 1968) and DJ Evil Dee (born May 24, 1971), formed in 1992, making their production debut with Evil Dee's group Black Moon, on its debut single, "Who Got Da Props?" The Doppelgangaz is an American rap duo from Orange County, New York consisting of rapper/producer Matter Ov Fact and rapper/producer EP. AOTP logo ''(as seen on In Death Reborn)'' Army of the Pharaohs (most commonly abbreviated as AOTP or A.O.T.P.) is an American underground hip hop collective originating from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, formed by Jedi Mind Tricks founder Vinnie Paz in 1998. ''In Death Reborn'' is the fourth studio album by the underground hip hop collective Army of the Pharaohs. The album was released on April 22, 2014, via Vinnie Paz's independent record label, Enemy Soil. The album features members Vinnie Paz, Apathy, Blacastan, Block McCloud, Celph Titled, Crypt The Warchild, Demoz, Des Devious, Doap Nixon, Esoteric, King Magnetic, King Syze, Planetary, Reef the Lost Cauze and Zilla, with a guest appearance by Lawrence Arnell.
