Comedy (anime)
is a short anime film produced in 2002 by Studio 4°C animation studio. The film was directed by Kazuto Nakazawa and featured the music of Franz Schubert's "''Ave Maria''". The film is noted for drawing its inspiration from Schubert's piece titled "''Erlkönig''". Plot During the Irish War of Independence, a five-year-old girl went out in search of the mysterious Demon's Castle. She hoped to recruit the services of the infamous Black Swordsman, who was portrayed as a dark, albeit skilled, swordsman. She wanted the swordsman to protect her village from an imminent attack by English soldiers; however, the Black Swordsman would only accept a particular genre of books as payment for his services. Upon receiving the book, the swordsman immersed himself in reading the novel, the cover of which shows that its title is "Denny's comedy". Kazuto Nakazawa
is a Japanese character designer and director of numerous anime series and video games who also goes by the pseudonym . His directorial work includes ''Parasite Dolls'', the anime sequence in '' Kill Bill: Volume 1'', and the Moondrive segment of '' Genius Party Beyond''. He has designed characters for many anime, such as '' Ashita no Nadja'' and ''Samurai Champloo'', for which he also served as animation director. In addition to his work with anime, he designed the characters of '' Tales of Legendia'' and was the animation director of ''Devil Kings''. Throughout his career, he has worked also as an animator, providing key animations to anime such as '' The Animatrix'''s " Kid's Story" and "A Detective Story". Studio 4°C
is a Japanese animation studio founded by Eiko Tanaka and Koji Morimoto in 1986. The name comes from the temperature at which water is most dense. History Studio 4 °C has produced numerous feature films, OVAs, and shorts. Early film titles include ''Memories'' (1995), ''Spriggan'' (1998), and ''Princess Arete'' (2001). In 2003, through a joint production with Warner Bros., Studio 4 °C created five segments of ''The Animatrix''. The following year, they created the award-winning avant-garde film ''Mind Game''. Anime

The Irish War of Independence () or Anglo-Irish War was a guerrilla war fought in Ireland from 1919 to 1921 between the Irish Republican Army (IRA, the army of the Irish Republic) and British forces: the British Army, along with the quasi-military Royal Irish Constabulary (RIC) and its paramilitary forces the Auxiliaries and Ulster Special Constabulary (USC). It was part of the Irish revolutionary period. In April 1916, Irish republicans launched the Easter Rising against British rule and proclaimed an Irish Republic. Although it was crushed after a week of fighting, the Rising and the British response led to greater popular support for Irish independence. The first four shorts had previously featured on the 4-volume " DVD magazine" series, , with one ''Sweat Punch'' episode per ''Grasshoppa!'' DVD. Upon collection and release in 2007's ''Deep Imagination'', a fifth short was added to the ''Sweat Punch'' series. Each short is directed by a different director, and the shorts deal with a variety of subjects. Professor Dan Petory's Blues A 10-minute short directed by Hidekazu Ohara, is a musical number starring a hand puppet named Junior. "Erlkönig", Op. 1, 328, is a '' Lied'' composed by Franz Schubert in 1815, which sets Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's poem of the same name. The singer takes the role of four characters — the narrator, a father, his small son, and the titular "Erlking", a supernatural creature who pursues the boy — each of whom exhibit different tessitura, harmonic and rhythmic characteristics.
