Co-written by Guy Chambers, it was Knight's second UK top-10 hit and is her highest-charting song in the UK, peaking at number nine and remaining in the UK top 75 for 10 weeks. Written about the breakup of her long-term relationship because she decided to put her career first, the song became Knight's first top-10 single in the United Kingdom, peaking at number 10 on the UK Singles Chart and topping the UK R&B Singles Chart. The Town House (also known as Townhouse Studios) was a recording studio located at 150 Goldhawk Road, Shepherd's Bush in London, built in 1978 under the direction of Richard Branson for Virgin Records. Guy Antony Chambers (born 12 January 1963) is an English songwriter, musician and record producer, best known for his work with Robbie Williams. Education Chambers attended Quarry Bank Comprehensive School sixth form in Liverpool. From 18, he studied composition and piano at the Guildhall School of Music, London. Career Chambers joined World Party in 1986. He co-wrote 'Love Street' with Karl Wallinger on the band's album ''Goodbye Jumbo''. He appeared on The Mission's album ''Carved in Sand'', providing the orchestral arrangement and piano for the song "Grapes of Wrath", and was producer for the short-lived group Stress with their debut album. "Not Too Late for Love" is the second single from Beverley Knight's fourth studio album, ''Affirmation (Beverley Knight album), Affirmation''. The single reached number 11 in the airplay chart and peaked at number 31 on the UK Singles Chart. At that time, it was her lowest chart position since "Sista Sista" in 1999. Mayfair Recording Studios, earlier called Spot Studios or Ryemuse Studios, was a recording studio in London, England, located in Mayfair from the 1960s to 1981, then in Primrose Hill from 1981 until it closed in 2008. In the early years the studio was owned by Ryemuse Ltd and was called Spot Studios. It was located at 64 South Molton St, Mayfair, above the chemist shop.
