Colville Park A.F.C.
Colville Park E Amateur Football Club is a Scottish amateur football club based in Motherwell, North Lanarkshire. In 2016 they competed in the Scottish Cup for the first time after winning the previous season's Scottish Amateur Cup, and repeated this feat in 2017 and 2019. The team colours are white and blue. Club history The football club was founded in 1968 as Colvilles AFC, a works team for Ravenscraig and other steelworking facilities owned by David Colville & Sons. They soon adjusted their membership to include players outwith the steel industry. The club badge still incorporates the logo of British Steel. Coville Park were initially part of the Lanarkshire Amateur Football Association, during which time they won the Scottish Amateur Cup in 1976. In 1990 they aligned to the Central Scottish Amateur Football League where they have remained since. Dalziel Park
Dalziel Park is an area located between the villages of Carfin, Cleland, North Lanarkshire, Cleland and Newarthill in North Lanarkshire, Scotland. Other nearby settlements include the large town of Motherwell and the new town of Ravenscraig. The area consists of a residential estate, a sports facility (regarded as one of the best in Scotland), a golf course and a clubhouse. South Of Scotland Football League
The South of Scotland Football League (SoSFL) is a senior football league based in south-west Scotland. The league sits at level 6 on the Scottish football league system, acting as a feeder to the Lowland Football League. Founded in 1946, it is currently composed of 12 member clubs in a single division. Geographically, the league primarily covers Dumfries and Galloway with one club located in South Lanarkshire. Cumbernauld
Cumbernauld (; gd, Comar nan Allt, meeting of the streams) is a large town in the historic county of Dunbartonshire and council area of North Lanarkshire, Scotland. It is the tenth most-populous locality in Scotland and the most populated town in North Lanarkshire, positioned in the centre of Scotland's Central Belt. Geographically, Cumbernauld sits between east and west, being on the Scottish watershed between the Forth and the Clyde; however, it is culturally more weighted towards Glasgow and the New Town's planners aimed to fill 80% of its houses from Scotland's largest city to reduce housing pressure there. Dave McKay (footballer)
David McKay (born 21 November 1984, in Glasgow) is a Scottish football striker currently without a club following his release from Clyde. Career McKay started the 2007–08 season playing amateur football, playing for both Drumchapel United and Swinton every weekend. He already had 75 goals to his name during the season before Clyde took an interest in him. He was capped by the Scotland Amateur international team, and was previously working in the A.G. Barr warehouse in Cumbernauld. McKay signed for Clyde, his first professional club, on 19 February 2008, after impressing in a trial period, in which he scored two goals for the Reserve team. He made his senior debut in a 2–1 defeat against Dunfermline Athletic on 23 February 2008. He is known for his speed, and can play as a winger as well as a striker. Kingdom Caledonian Amateur Football Association
The Kingdom Caledonian Amateur Football Association (KCAFA) was a football (soccer) league competition for amateur clubs in the Fife area of Scotland. It was formed in 1984 when the top sides from the East Fife A.F.A. and the Kirkcaldy & District A. F. L. broke away and amalgamated with the aim of creating a highly competitive league with fewer games in an effort to raise the quality and the profile of amateur football in Fife. Hampden Park (Scottish Gaelic: ''Pàirc Hampden''), often referred to as Hampden, is a football stadium in the Mount Florida area of Glasgow, Scotland.
