Colin Gordon
Colin Gordon (27 April 1911 – 4 October 1972) was a British actor born in Ceylon. Biography He was educated at Marlborough College and Christ Church, Oxford. He made his first West End appearance in 1934 as the hind legs of a horse in a production of ''Toad of Toad Hall''. From 1936 to 1939 he was a director with the Fred Melville Repertory Company in Brixton. He served in the army during the Second World War for six years. Film career Gordon had a long career in British cinema and television from the 1940s to the 1970s, often playing government officials. His films include ''The Pink Panther'' and '' Casino Royale'' (both with Peter Sellers, alongside whom he made five films). In the ITC series ''The Prisoner'' (1967) he portrayed Number Two twice, in " A. B. and C." and later in " The General". ''The Invisible Man'' (later known as ''H.G. Wells' Invisible Man'') is a British black-and-white science fiction television series that aired on ITV from September 1958 to July 1959. It was aired on CBS in the United States, running two seasons and totalling 26 half-hour episodes. The series was nominally based on the 1897 novel by H. G. Wells, one of four such television series. In this version, the deviation from the novel went as far as changing the main character's name from Dr. Griffin to Dr. Peter Brady who remained a sane man, not a power-hungry lunatic as in the book or the 1933 film adaptation. ''Hine'' is a 1971 British drama television series set in the Middle East which was created by Wilfred Greatorex. The series stars Barrie Ingham as international arms dealer Joe Hine. "The Cat with Ten Lives" is the third episode aired of the first series of ''UFO'' - a 1970 British television science fiction series about an alien invasion of Earth. David Tomblin wrote the screenplay and directed the episode. The episode was filmed between 22 May and 3 June 3, 1970 and aired on the ATV Midlands network on 30 September 1970. ''Hancock's Half Hour'' was a BBC radio comedy, and later television comedy series, broadcast from 1954 to 1961 and written by Galton and Simpson, Ray Galton and Alan Simpson. ''Bachelor Father'' is a British sitcom starring Ian Carmichael that aired for two series from 1970 to 1971. It was written by Richard Waring. ''The Faceless Ones'' is the mostly missing eighth serial of the fourth season in the British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who'', which was first broadcast in six weekly parts from 8 April to 13 May 1967. Terence Graham Parry Jones (1 February 1942 – 21 January 2020) was a Welsh comedian, director, historian, actor, writer and member of the Monty Python comedy team. Michael Palin
Sir Michael Edward Palin (; born 5 May 1943) is an English actor, comedian, writer, television presenter, and public speaker. He was a member of the Monty Python comedy group. Since 1980, he has made a number of travel documentaries. Palin wrote most of his comedic material with fellow Python member Terry Jones.
