Girabola, or ''Campeonato Nacional de Futebol em Séniores Masculinos'', is the top division of Angolan football. It is organized by the Angolan Football Federation. The league winner and runner-up qualify for the CAF Champions League. Girabola ZAP In January 2016, Angolan subscription TV satellite and cable provider ZAP, the Angolan Football Federation and the Girabola clubs, signed a three-year deal in which ZAP will have broadcast rights over all Girabola matches. The Clube Ferroviário de Luanda aka Ferroportuária, sports club, among other sports, has a women's handball team competing at the local level, at the Luanda Provincial Handball Championship and at the Angola National Handball Championship. The Clube Ferroviário de Luanda (in English: Railway Club Luanda) is an Angolan basketball team based in Luanda. It is the basketball section of the multi-sports club with the same name. In the past, they have also played in Angolan Basketball League, winning the national title in 1979. The 2014 Girabola was the 36th season of top-tier football league in Angola. The season ran from 21 February to 8 November 2014. Kabuscorp were the defending champions, having won their first Angolan championship in 2013. The league comprised 16 teams, the bottom three of which were relegated to the 2015 Segundona.
