Clive Waterhouse
Clive Waterhouse (born 23 June 1974 in England) is a former Australian rules footballer. He played in the Australian Football League (AFL) for the Fremantle Football Club as a half-forward flanker. Early life Waterhouse was born in England to a bricklayer and moved to South Australia with his aunt and her three kids followed later by his father. Despite being a late starter to Australian Rules, having mainly played soccer until the age of 17, He played junior Australian Rules for the Para Hills Football Club where he won the best and fairest in an undefeated team. He was invited to play Under 19s with powerhouse club Port Adelaide and after an outstanding season for Port Adelaide in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL), including being a member of the 1995 premiership team was the number 1 pick in the 1995 AFL Draft. South Fremantle Football Club is an Australian rules football club based in Fremantle, Western Australia. Brownlow Medal
The Charles Brownlow Trophy, better known as the Brownlow Medal (and informally as "Charlie"), is awarded to the " best and fairest" player in the Australian Football League (AFL) during the home-and-away season, as determined by votes cast by the three officiating field umpires after each game. West Coast Eagles
The West Coast Eagles are a professional Australian rules football club based in Perth, Western Australia. The club was founded in 1986 as one of two expansion teams in the Australian Football League (AFL), then known as the Victorian Football League. The club plays its home games at Perth Stadium and has its headquarters at Lathlain Park. Doig Medal
The Doig Medal is the best and fairest award given out to the player considered best and fairest during a season for the Fremantle Football Club in the AFL. It was renamed in 2000 after the legendary Fremantle footballing family, the Doigs, who have had over 17 members play league football for East Fremantle or South Fremantle in the WAFL. The most famous is George Doig who has been inducted in the Australian Football Hall of Fame. Eight different players won the award between 1995 and 2002 until Peter Bell won his second medal in 2003. Following Bell's third medal in 2004, Matthew Pavlich won four consecutive medals to hold the record of six medals in total. Nat Fyfe became the third player to win multiple Doig medals when he won consecutive medals in 2013 and 2014. Tony Modra
Anthony Dale Modra (born 1 March 1969) is a former Australian rules footballer who represented Adelaide and Fremantle in the Australian Football League (AFL) and West Adelaide in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). Known for his spectacular marking ability in the full forward position, Modra had the physical strength and size to match the best opposition full backs in the competition.
