Sean Cleary (footballer)
Sean Cleary (born 26 February 1983) is a association football, football player from Northern Ireland. He signed for Cliftonville F.C., Cliftonville from Ards F.C., Ards in July 2005. He started his career with Cliftonville well, making his debut against Larne F.C., Larne in July 2005 and winning the Player of the Month award two months later. Although he was injured for most of the 2006–07 season, he still managed to score three goals. Cleary went out on loan to Armagh City F.C., Armagh City at the beginning of the 2007–08 season, but returned later in the season as Cliftonville challenged for the NIFL Premiership, Irish Premier League title. However, in July 2008 he was told to leave the club following "a breach of club discipline". In September 2008 he moved to Larne F.C., Larne. Philip Ronald Cleary (born 8 December 1952) is an Australian commentator on politics and sport, particularly Australian rules football, and a former independent politician elected at the 1992 Wills by-election. Football playing career Cleary first came to notice as a prominent player and coach in Victoria's second-level Australian rules football competition, the Victorian Football Association, for the Coburg Football Club. Michael Cleary (17 May 1934 – 31 December 1993) was an Irish Roman Catholic priest, who also became a radio and TV personality. Described in some sources as a "powerful and charismatic figure" in the Catholic Church in Ireland, he presented a late-night radio phone-in show in Dublin in the 1980s and hosted his own television chat show.
