Claudio Castellini
Claudio Castellini (born 3 March 1966) is an Italian Comic book creator, comic book artist. According to his website, Castellini has a "love for technical details, influenced by artists like Neal Adams and John Buscema". Biography Castellini's first work was the March 1989 episode for the Italian Horror fiction, horror series ''Dylan Dog'' published by Sergio Bonelli Editore. It was followed by a second Dylan Dog story in September 1990. In 1991 Castellini collaborated in the graphic elaboration of ''Nathan Never'', a science fiction series whose covers he drew until issue #59. His first work for Marvel Comics was ''Silver Surfer: Dangerous Artifacts'', a Silver Surfer graphic novel written by Ron Marz, published in June 1996. He produced covers for ''Cosmic Powers Unlimited'' and ''Elektra Magazine'', drew ''Fantastic Four Unlimited'' from 1993 to 1995, and worked on the intercompany crossover miniseries, ''DC vs. Marvel''. Spider-Man is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer-editor Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko, he first appeared in the anthology comic book '' Amazing Fantasy'' #15 (August 1962) in the Silver Age of Comic Books. Red Sonja
Red Sonja is a fictional sword and sorcery comic-book superheroine created by writer Roy Thomas and artist Barry Windsor-Smith for Marvel Comics in 1973, partially inspired by Robert E. Howard's character Red Sonya of Rogatino. Marvel Comics published stories featuring Red Sonja until 1986, and returned to the character for a one-shot story in 1995. In 2005, Dynamite Entertainment began publishing stories of the heroine, during which the original Sonja was killed and replaced by a "reincarnation". The series was rebooted by writer Gail Simone in 2013, telling an altered version of Red Sonja's early life story via flashbacks. Countdown To Infinite Crisis
''DC Countdown'', commonly referred to as ''Countdown to Infinite Crisis'', is a one-shot publication and the official start of the "Infinite Crisis" storyline. It was released 30 March 2005, sold out, and quickly went to a second printing. When this comic was first published, the cover showed Batman holding a shadowed corpse, so as not to ruin the surprise of who dies. For the second printing, the shadows were removed to reveal the identity of the corpse. During initial solicitations the comic was entitled ''DC Countdown'' to postpone revelation of an upcoming crisis. ''Countdown'' was a special 80 page comic originally priced at $1, much lower than would normally be the case for an 80-page comic, although the second printing was priced at $2. America's Best Comics (ABC) is a comic book publishing brand. It was set up by Alan Moore in 1999 as an imprint of WildStorm, an idea proposed to Moore by WildStorm founder Jim Lee when it was still under Image Comics. The ''ThunderCats'' a superhero comic book series was based on the original television series of the same name. It was originally published by Marvel Comics through its Star Comics imprint in 1985, lasting for 3 years and 24 issues. During this time, a new series was published by Marvel UK consisting of 129 issues and was also published for three years. ''Robotech'' comics first officially appeared in print in 1985, though Comico published the first issue of its license from Harmony Gold USA under the ''Macross'' name. When Harmony Gold was releasing the first few episodes of its original ''Macross'' dub in 1984, it was discovered that Revell already had a ''Robotech Defenders'' line of scale model kits that included the transformable ''Macross'' mecha. The potential for brand confusion caused concern that Harmony Gold would have problems selling its own transformable ''Macross'' toys. Harmony Gold and Revell were able to come to a co-licensing agreement — when producer Carl Macek had the idea to combine ''Macross'' with ''Southern Cross'' and ''Mospeada'' to create an 85-episode television series, he chose to use Revell's pre-existing ''Robotech'' name and logo to strengthen the title's brand recognition. Green Lantern is the name of several superheroes appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. They fight evil with the aid of rings that grant them a variety of extraordinary powers, all of which come from imagination, fearlessness, and the electromagnetic spectrum of emotional willpower. The characters are typically depicted as members of the Green Lantern Corps, an intergalactic law enforcement agency.
