Clara Dent
Clara Dent-Bogányi is an Austria, Austrian oboist and teacher. She has been a soloist with the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra and a teacher at the Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg, in addition to winning international competitions. Biography Clara Dent was born in Berlin to a family of musicians; her family moved soon after to Salzburg. She received her musical education at the Mozarteum University Salzburg with Arthur Jensen, and later earned a Master's degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich studying with Günther Passin. She has won prizes in several international competitions, including the ARD International Music Competition, ARD Competition in Munich (1996, third prize) and the Geneva International Music Competition (1998, second prize). The Bavarian State Orchestra (german: Bayerisches Staatsorchester, italic=no) is the orchestra of the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, Germany. The Leopold Mozart Centre (German: (LMZ) in Augsburg, Germany, is a university of music, founded as part of the University of Augsburg in 2008. Munich Symphony Orchestra
The Munich Symphony Orchestra (Münchner Symphoniker) is a German orchestra based in Munich but active statewide in Bavaria. It gives subscription concerts at the Herkulessaal and the Prinzregententheater and, to a lesser degree, at the Philharmonie am Gasteig. Kurt Graunke founded the ensemble as the “Graunke Symphony Orchestra” in 1945 and led its first concert on September 25 of that year as a benefit for the Bavarian Red Cross. In music, an octet is a musical ensemble consisting of eight instruments or voices, or a musical composition written for such an ensemble. Octets in classical music Octets in classical music are one of the largest groupings of chamber music. Although eight-part scoring was fairly common for serenades and divertimenti in the 18th century, the word "octet" only first appeared at the beginning of the 19th century, as the title of a composition by Prince Louis Ferdinand of Prussia, whose Octet Op. 12 (published posthumously in 1808) features the piano, together with clarinet, 2 horns, 2 violins, and 2 cellos. The Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra (Stuttgarter Kammerorchester) is a German chamber orchestra based in Stuttgart. Its principal concert venue is the Liederhalle, Stuttgart. Kent George Nagano GOQ, MSM (born November 22, 1951) is an American conductor and opera administrator. Since 2015, he has been Music Director of the Hamburg State Opera and was Music Director of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra from 2006 to 2020. Early life and education Nagano was born in Berkeley, California, while his parents were in graduate school at the University of California, Berkeley. He is a ''sansei'' (third-generation) Japanese-American. He grew up in Morro Bay, a city located on the Central Coast of California in San Luis Obispo County.
