Circuit Of The Americas
Circuit of the Americas (COTA) is a Grade 1 FIA-specification motor racing track and facilities located within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of Austin, Texas, in the United States. The facility is home to the Formula One United States Grand Prix, NASCAR's Texas Grand Prix, and the Motorcycle Grand Prix of the Americas, a round in MotoGP. It previously hosted the Australian V8 Supercars, the Americas Rallycross Championship, the American Le Mans Series, the Rolex Sports Car Series, the FIA World Endurance Championship, the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and the IndyCar Classic. XPEL 225
The XPEL 225 is a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. The race was introduced in 2021 as one of four road course races on the Truck Series schedule. XPEL holds the naming rights to the race. The inaugural event in 2021 was sponsored by Toyota and called the Toyota Tundra 225. Hermann Tilke (born 31 December 1954, in Olpe, Germany) is a German engineer, racing driver and circuit designer, who has designed numerous Formula One motor racing circuits. Racing During the 1980s, Tilke competed in touring car racing, mainly on the old Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit. He also competed in VLN endurance racing and the 24 Hours Nürburgring. He and Dirk Adorf won some VLN races with a V8Star Series in 2003 and 2004. Charles Marc Hervé Perceval Leclerc (; born 16 October 1997) is a Monégasque racing driver, currently racing in Formula One for Scuderia Ferrari. He won the GP3 Series championship in 2016 and the FIA Formula 2 Championship in . Jason Bright (born 7 March 1973) is a retired Australian racing driver who competed in the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship. He drove the No. 56 Ford FG X Falcon for Britek Motorsport, a satellite team of Prodrive Racing Australia, before retiring from full-time racing at the end of the 2017. 2013 Austin 400
The 2013 Austin 400 was a motor race meeting for the Australasian sedan-based V8 Supercars. It was the fifth event of the 2013 International V8 Supercars Championship. Four races were held during the race meeting. It was the first V8 Supercar event to be held in North America. Jamie Whincup, driving for Triple Eight Race Engineering, dominated the event, continuing his strong form from the previous round at Barbagallo Raceway.
