Christian Bernhard
Christian Bernhard (born 15 November 1963, Lustenau, Austria) is an Austrian politician in Vorarlberg. Bernhard is, since 6 June 2012, the Landesrat of Health and Disabled Aide of the Vorarlberg regional government. Bernhard is single and lives in Dornbirn. Career Bernhard was born on 15 November 1963 in the market town of Lustenau in the Vorarlberg region of the Rhine Valley. He graduated in 1982, passing Matura in Dornbirn's federal gymnasium and then studied medicine at the University of Innsbruck. There, in 1989, he earned a doctorate in General Medicine (Dr. med. Univ.) and then began training as a general practitioner, and first worked as a foundation doctor hospital in Dornbirn. In 1993, Bernhard entered into politics in Vorarlberg and, in 1994, was head of the Department of Health in the Bludenz. Lustenau
Lustenau (; gsw, Luschnou) is a town in the westernmost Austrian state of Vorarlberg in the district of Dornbirn. It lies on the river Rhine, which forms the border with Switzerland. Lustenau is Vorarlberg's fourth largest town. Geography Lustenau is located on the eastern bank of the Alpine Rhine, in the lower Vorarlberg Rhine Valley, which serves as the border with the Canton of St. Gallen, Switzerland. Its altitude is 404 meters above sea level. Because the town is located at the bottom of the Rhine Valley, there are no hills or mountains. Dornbirn () is a city in the westernmost Austrian state of Vorarlberg. It is the administrative centre for the district of Dornbirn, which also includes the town of Hohenems, and the market town Lustenau. Rainer Gögele (born 26 July 1956, Feldkirch, Austria) is a former Austrian politician for the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP). He was, from 2011 to 2012, in the Provincial Government of Vorarlberg. Markus Wallner (born 20 July 1967) is an Austrian politician (ÖVP). Since 2011, he has been the governor of Vorarlberg.
