Chris Warren (rugby League)
Chris Warren (born 1 September 1970) is an Australian television presenter/producer and former professional rugby league footballer. He is a son of sports commentator Ray Warren. Early years Warren was born in Sydney, attended Marist Brothers Parramatta and later earned a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in marketing. Playing career Warren was a Parramatta junior and played in their winning SG Ball side of 1986. He also captained NSW CCC at under 15 and Open ages but missed out on making the Australian Schoolboys side in 1988, although he did win the Commonwealth Bank Cup with Parramatta Marist. Warren played seven seasons in the NSWRL and ARL after making his debut for Western Suburbs Magpies in 1990. He was a foundation member of the Western Reds squad in 1995 but did not make any first grade appearances. The State of Origin series is an annual best-of-three rugby league series between two Australian state representative sides, the New South Wales Blues and the Queensland Maroons. Referred to as “Australian sport's greatest rivalry”, the State of Origin series is one of Australia's premier sporting events, attracting huge television audiences and usually selling out the stadiums in which the games are played. It is regularly described as being the pinnacle of rugby league, even in comparison with international competitions. Harlequins Rugby League
The London Broncos are a professional rugby league club in London, England. The club competes in the RFL Championship. It was a member of Super League from its inaugural season in 1996 until the end of the 2014 season, when they were relegated to the Championship. They returned to the Super League after achieving promotion by winning the Million Pound Game against the Toronto Wolfpack in 2018, but were relegated back to the Championship at the end of the 2019 Super League season after finishing 12th. The club was originally formed in 1980 as Fulham Rugby League Club and entered the Second Division for the 1980–81 season.
