The Chile national under-18 basketball team is a national basketball team of Chile, administered by the Federación de Basquetbol de Chile. It represents the country in international under-18 (under age 18) basketball competitions. FIBA Under-19 World Championship
The FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup (formerly FIBA Under-19 World Championship) is the under-19 men's world basketball championship organised by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA). From its inauguration in 1979, until 2007, it was held every four years. Since 2007, it has been held biennially. The current champions are the United States, who defeated France in 2021. FIBA Americas Under-18 Championship
The FIBA Under-18 Americas Championship is the Americas basketball championship for players under 18 years that take place every two years among national teams of the FIBA Americas zone. Chile, officially the Republic of Chile, is a country in the western part of South America. Nico Carvacho
Nicolás Eduardo "Nico" Carvacho Bibb (born January 24, 1997) is a Chilean-American professional basketball player for MKS Dąbrowa Górnicza of the PLK. He played college basketball for Colorado State. Early life Carvacho was born in Nashville, Tennessee. He is the son of Nicole and Eddie Carvacho, a professional soccer coach. Growing up, Carvacho preferred playing soccer to basketball, which he began playing at the age of nine. When he was 15, he moved to his father's native country of Chile to join a soccer club. After five months, he returned to Frisco, Texas and decided to focus on basketball. As a junior at Frisco High School, Carvacho averaged 10 points and 10 rebounds per game and helped the team to a 19–12 record. He transferred to Sunrise Christian Academy for his senior season. The Colorado State Rams men's basketball team represents Colorado State University, located in Fort Collins, in the U.S. state of Colorado, in NCAA Division I basketball competition. They play their home games at the Moby Arena and are members of the Mountain West Conference. They are led by head coach Niko Medved. History The men's basketball team at Colorado State University—then called Colorado Agricultural College—began competing in the 1901–02 season. The school became a member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference in the 1910–11 season, and followed most of the larger schools in that conference into the Mountain States Conference in the 1938–39 season and stayed in the conference until 1961–62.
