College career

Carvacho redshirted his freshman season. As a redshirt freshman, his game was raw and he picked up quick fouls but showed signs of great rebounding ability. He ended his sophomore season with 16 straight double-doubles. As a sophomore, Carvacho averaged 9.2 points, 10.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game for the Rams. After the season, coach
