Chickenhare
''Chickenhare'' is a series of graphic novels, written and illustrated by the American author Chris Grine. The first two books were published by Dark Horse Comics, and the third was being released on-line as a web comic since November 2009, before its cancellation. The series follows the story of Chickenhare, a rare and exotic cross between a chicken and a rabbit, and his bearded box turtle friend, Abe. Volumes ''The House of Klaus'' The first installment in the series is titled ''Chickenhare: The House of Klaus'' in which we are introduced to the Chickenhare universe as well as a few major characters, Banjo, a monkey and Meg, her species remains a mystery. ''Chickenhare and the Hamster of Darkness'' is a 2022 computer-animated adventure comedy film produced by nWave Pictures, written by David Collard and directed by Benjamin Mousquet (in his directorial debut) and Ben Stassen; it is based on the graphic novel '' Chickenhare'' by Chris Grine. Ben Stassen
Ben Stassen is a Belgian film director, producer, and screenwriter. He is best known for directing and producing several computer-animated films such as '' A Turtle's Tale: Sammy's Adventures'' (2010), ''Robinson Crusoe'' (2016), and ''The Queen's Corgi'' (2019). Career Stassen founded nWave Pictures in 1994, producing CG ride films including ''Devil's Mine''. A graphic novel is a long-form, fictional work of sequential art. The term ''graphic novel'' is often applied broadly, including fiction, non-fiction, and anthologized work, though this practice is highly contested by comic scholars and industry professionals. Monkey is a common name that may refer to most mammals of the infraorder Simiiformes, also known as the simians.
