''Checkered Ninja'' ( da, Ternet Ninja) is a 2018 Danish computer-animated comedy-drama film, directed by Anders Matthesen, and Thorbjørn Christoffersen, and based on Matthesen's 2016 novel ''Ternet Ninja''. It stars Anders Matthesen and Alfred Bjerre Larsen. The film was released on December 25, 2018, to positive response and box office success. The film was dubbed to English in 2019, with an Irish cast, and the dubbed version was released on Amazon Prime and iTunes. The international sales of the film has been handled by LevelK Film while the dubbing was done by Moetion Films. Plot In Thailand, Danish businessman Philip Eberfø arrives to check on his new factory. As a boy accidentally uses his scarf to create a checkered ninja doll, Eberfø brutally beats him to death. The Bodil Award for Best Danish Film ( da, Bodilprisen for bedste danske film) is one of the categories for the Bodil Awards presented annually by the Danish Film Critics Association. It was created in 1948 and is one of the oldest film prizes in Europe. The jury can decide not to give out the award if no deserving films are submitted. This has occurred once, in 1974. Rotten Tomatoes is an American review-aggregation website for film and television. The company was launched in August 1998 by three undergraduate students at the University of California, Berkeley: Senh Duong, Patrick Y. Lee, and Stephen Wang. Although the name "Rotten Tomatoes" connects to the practice of audiences throwing rotten tomatoes in disapproval of a poor stage performance, the original inspiration comes from a scene featuring tomatoes in the Canadian film ''Léolo'' (1992). Plot In Thailand, Eppermint is about to be released as all charges against him are dropped after the main evidence are robbed. In Danemark, Alex is in love with Jessica but the feeling does not seem mutual. Alex's stepfather has sold a stool analysis app for a considerable amount of money and all the family is invited to chose a holiday destination. Meanwhile, the Ninja reappears in Alex's life, first in the body of a porcupine that he is soon forced to leave: his spirit now inhabits a doll that Alex's mother has just made. But much to the boy's and the Ninja's discontent, the doll is made out of a pink-red fabric that is embroidered with hearts, which both find too feminine. Waqas Qadri
Outlandish is a hip-hop music group based in Denmark. Formed in 1997, it consisted of Isam Bachiri (born in Denmark and of Berber background), (born in Denmark and of Pakistani background), and (born in Honduras and of Cuban and Honduran descent). All three members are religious, with Isam and Waqas being Muslims and Lenny being Catholic. The group disbanded in 2017 as each member wanted to pursue personal projects. In 2019 band members Waqas and Lenny brought back the band as a duo while Isam continued to pursue a solo career. Outlandish has since released two singles and are currently working on a new album which is set to be released in April 2020.
