Charles In Charge
''Charles in Charge'' is an American sitcom television series that premiered on October 3, 1984, on CBS. The series was a production of Al Burton Productions and Scholastic Productions in association with Universal Television and starred Scott Baio, who had previously starred in '' Happy Days'', in the title role. Willie Aames, who had previously been a cast member on ''Eight Is Enough'', also starred as Charles’ best friend Buddy Lembeck. ''Charles in Charge'' joined the CBS Wednesday night lineup at 8:00 pm, placing it against ABC’s hit action series '' The Fall Guy'' and the new Michael Landon-led ''Highway to Heaven'' on NBC. Shandi Sinnamon
Shandi Sinnamon (born 1952) is an American singer and songwriter. Career Shandi was born to a Huguenot family as Shandra Sinnamon in Miami, Florida. After dropping out of high school, she left home for Big Sur, California. Her ambition was to become a singer and songwriter. After a bicycle accident in L.A., she went back to Florida for recuperation. While recovering, she studied music and drama at a community college. While she was singing in a local restaurant, a disc jockey noticed her talent and introduced her to Elektra/Asylum Records. In 1976, she released her first album, ''Shandi Sinnamon'', on Asylum Records. Around the same time in Los Angeles, California, Mike Chapman discovered her. ''Highway to Heaven'' is an American fantasy drama television series that ran on NBC from September 19, 1984, to August 4, 1989. The series starred Michael Landon as Jonathan Smith, an angel sent to Earth in order to help people in need. Victor French, Landon's co-star from his previous television series, '' Little House on the Prairie'', co-starred as Mark Gordon, a retired policeman who travels with and helps Smith with the tasks or "assignments" to which he is referred. Michael Landon (born Eugene Maurice Orowitz; October 31, 1936 – July 1, 1991) was an American actor and filmmaker. He is known for his roles as Little Joe Cartwright in '' Bonanza'' (1959–1973), Charles Ingalls in '' Little House on the Prairie'' (1974–1983), and Jonathan Smith in ''Highway to Heaven'' (1984–1989). Landon appeared on the cover of ''TV Guide'' 22 times, second only to Lucille Ball.
