Champagne Basket
Champagne Basket is a French professional basketball club that is based in both the cities of Reims and Châlons-en-Champagne. The club was established in 2010 as part of the union between the old clubs of Reims Champagne Basket club (RCB) and the ESPE Basket Pro club of Châlons-en-Champagne. Since 2022, the team plays in the LNB Pro B, the second tier division of French basketball. LNB Pro B
The LNB Pro B, commonly known as Pro B, is the French basketball league system, 2nd-tier level men's professional basketball league in France. It is the second division of the Ligue Nationale de Basket (LNB), which has organized the league since the year 1987. The regular season champion and the winner of the promotion playoffs from each Pro B season are promotion and relegation, promoted to the French basketball league system, top-tier level LNB Pro A, replaced by the bottom two teams in Pro A. Benjamin Bentil (born March 29, 1995) is a Ghanaian professional basketball player for Crvena zvezda of the Adriatic League and the EuroLeague. He played two seasons of college basketball for Providence before being drafted 51st overall by the Boston Celtics in the 2016 NBA draft. Early life Bentil was sent to the United States from Ghana when he was 15 and Bentil's athletic prowess earned him a scholarship to the Haverford School in Haverford, Pennsylvania before leaving for St. Andrew's School in Middletown, Delaware. Blake Schilb (born December 23, 1983) is an American-born naturalized Czech former professional basketball player who last played for USK Praha of the Czech NBL. Standing , he plays the point forward position. College career Prior to Loyola University, Schilb was a postgraduate student at Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, during the 2002-2003 academic year. Angelo Constantin Tsagarakis (alternate spellings: Angelos, Aggelos, Tsagkarakis) (Greek: Άγγελος Τσαγκαράκης; born June 3, 1984) is a retired French-Greek professional basketball player who played both point guard and shooting guard. Tsagarakis played college basketball at Oregon State University, with the Oregon Beavers, and at Cal Poly Pomona, with the Cal Poly Pomona Broncos. Yannis Morin (born August 31, 1993) is a French professional basketball player for UCAM Murcia CB of the Liga ACB. The 2021–22 Pro A season, known as Betclic Élite due to sponsorship from online gambling company Betclic, is the ongoing 100th season of the Pro A, the top basketball league in France organised by the Ligue Nationale de Basket (LNB). The regular season began on 1 October 2021 and is scheduled to complete on 17 May 2022.
