Centennial High School is a high school in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, teaching grades 10 through 12. The school's name was chosen as a reference to the 100th birthday of the province of Alberta in 2005, as the construction of the school was finished that year. The school opened for students to attend in 2004, while the school was still undergoing construction. The school is part of the Action for Bright Children Society. MidSun Junior High School
MidSun Junior High School is a Canadian middle school teaching grades seven through nine for the communities of Midnapore, Chaparral and Sundance, in Calgary, Alberta. It is part of the public Calgary Board of Education. When opened in 1998 it was designed with a capacity of 750 students, and quickly gained enrollment of slightly less, or slightly more, than that figure. The need for a new junior high school (middle school) to alleviate busing concerns arose in 1996. The efforts of the community were met with success, and the school was opened for the fall of 1998. In 2006, students started coming from the community of Lake Chaparral. Currently, students graduating from MidSun Junior High attend Centennial High School. Alexa Lea Gray (born August 7, 1994) is a Canadian volleyball player. She is part of the Canadian women's national volleyball team. Professionally, she plays for Series A1 Italian league Imoco Volley Conegliano. Personal life Gray attended high school at Centennial High School in Calgary. She began playing volleyball in sixth grade and played for Calgary Dinos women’s volleyball club and helped them to U15 and U17 provincial champ titles and U16 and U17 national champ title. She also played rugby and basketball in high school. Gray has attributed her motivation to her late mother, Stacey French. Her mother was also an athlete and played basketball at Southern Utah.
