Carly Jackson
Carly Jackson (born June 23, 1997) is a Canadian ice hockey goaltender, currently playing in the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) with PWHL Toronto. Playing career In her youth, Jackson played for the Cumberland Blues of the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League. In her rookie season with Maine, she was named to the Hockey East All-Academic Team, with a .911 SV% 2.84 GAA in 27 starts for the university. In 2018, she was named a WHEA All-Star Honourable Mention, after setting a single-season record for wins at the University of Maine. By the time she graduated, she would set the university's all-time records in wins, goals-against average, save percentage, and shutouts. Professional In April 2020, Jackson was selected 3rd overall by the Buffalo Beauts in the PHF draft, her selection being announced by former Buffalo Sabres captain Pat Lafontaine. 2023 PWHL Draft
The 2023 PWHL Draft was the first draft in Professional Women's Hockey League history, and took place on September 18, 2023, at the Canadian Broadcasting Centre in Toronto, Ontario. Minnesota Golden Gophers forward Taylor Heise was the first player chosen in the draft, selected by Minnesota. In all, 90 players were selected over 15 rounds of drafting. Loren Gabel (born July 24, 1997) is a Canadian women's ice hockey player, formerly of the Clarkson Golden Knights. She made her debut for the Canada women's national ice hockey team at the 2018 4 Nations Cup. She won the Patty Kazmaier Award in 2019. Dominique Kremer (born June 9, 1997) is an American ice hockey defender, currently playing with the Buffalo Beauts of the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF). Playing career Kremer began skating at the age of three, playing hockey for the first time two years later. She later played with the St. Louis Lady Blues organisation, before attending Shattuck-St. Mary's in Minnesota for high school. From 2015 to 2019, she attended Merrimack College, scoring 56 points in 138 NCAA Division I games with the Merrimack Warriors women's ice hockey team of the Hockey East conference. Mallory Souliotis (born April 1, 1996) is an American professional ice hockey defenseman, currently playing in the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF) with the Connecticut Whale. Career Early career During high school, Souliotis played for the Noble and Greenough School, being named to the NEPSAC Division 1 Second All-Star Team in 2014. From 2014 to 2018, she attended Yale University, putting up 70 points in 117 NCAA games. She picked up 9 points in 26 games in her rookie collegiate season, being named her team's most improved player at the end of the year.
