Carlos Sainz Jr.
Carlos Sainz Vázquez de Castro (; born 1 September 1994), otherwise known as Carlos Sainz Jr. or simply Carlos Sainz, is a Formula One drivers from Spain, Spanish racing driver currently competing in Formula One for Scuderia Ferrari. He is the son of Carlos Sainz Sr., a List of World Rally Championship Drivers' champions, double World Rally Champion. In 2012, Sainz raced in the 2012 British Formula 3 season, British and 2012 FIA European Formula 3 Championship season, European Formula 3 championships for Carlin Motorsport, Carlin. He raced for DAMS in the 2014 Formula Renault 3.5 season, winning the championship before moving to F1 with Toro Rosso. Sainz moved to McLaren for the 2019 season, while at the same time ending his contract with Red Bull Racing. At the Sainz took his maiden Formula One podium finish with third. The 2012 Cooper Tires British Formula 3 International Series season is the 62nd British Formula 3 International Series season. The series, promoted by the Stéphane Ratel Organisation, began on 6 April at Oulton Park and ended on 30 September at Donington Park after 29 races held at ten meetings. There have been fifteen Formula One drivers from Spain, the most successful of them being Fernando Alonso who won the World Drivers' Championship twice. 2010 Formula BMW Pacific Season
The 2010 Formula BMW Pacific season was the seventh and final Formula BMW Pacific season. The championship began on 3 April in Sepang and finished on 21 November in Macau after fifteen races held at six meetings. The series was axed at the end of the season, in favour of a new Formula BMW Talent Cup starting in 2011. 2010 Formula BMW Europe Season
The 2010 Formula BMW Europe season was the third and final season of the Formula BMW Europe championship. The championship began on 8 May at Barcelona and finished on 12 September at Monza. The series was axed at the end of the season, in favour of a new Formula BMW Talent Cup starting in 2011. The season was dominated by two drivers in their second season of competing in the championship, Robin Frijns of Josef Kaufmann Racing and Jack Harvey of Fortec Motorsport. Heading into the final round at Monza, Harvey held a seven-point lead over Frijns, but after taking pole position for both races, Harvey's chances took a hit after Javier Tarancón tried to outbrake him into the final corner and collided with him.
