Carla Lazzari (born 19 August 2005), better known by her mononym Carla, is a French singer and television presenter. She represented France in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 with the song "Bim bam toi", finishing fifth, and was one of the hosts for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Paris. Biography Lazzari is from Châteauneuf-Villevieille near Nice in the Alpes-Maritimes department in southeastern France.These sources say she is from Nice: She was born into a family of musicians and singers. France participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with the song "" written by Barbara Pravi, Lili Poe and Igit. The song was performed by Barbara Pravi. The French broadcaster in collaboration with the television channel organised the national final in order to select the French entry for the 2021 contest in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Twelve songs competed in the national final where the winner was selected over two rounds of voting. In the first round, eight entries were selected to advance to the second round: seven entries selected a public vote and one entry selected by a ten-member jury panel.
