Carl Sandri
Carl Stephen Sandri (born 11 July 1983) is an Italian-Australian cricket coach and former player. He represented Italy from 2012 to 2017 and also played a single season with the Sydney Thunder. He is an all-rounder who bats right-handed and bowls off-spin. He coached Papua New Guinea from 2021 to 2022. Playing career Sandri played for the Victoria Second XI in the 2005/06 Australian season. Sandri later moved to England, where he played a single match in county cricket for the Worcestershire Second XI against the Yorkshire Second XI in 2008, but unable to force his way into the Worcestershire first eleven. While in England, he also played in the Central Lancashire League in 2008 for Radcliffe, and in the Lancashire League for Lowerhouse in 2009. By 2012, he had qualified to play for Italy by way of his Italian heritage. Lowerhouse Cricket Club
Lowerhouse Cricket Club is a cricket club in the Lancashire League, which plays its home games at The Brooks Foundation Ground on Liverpool Road in Burnley. In recent years the club has been very successful, winning the league in 2011, 2012 and 2014, the Worsley Cup in 2004, 2012, 2018 and 2021 and the Twenty20 Cup in 2013. The club won the league for the first time in 2005, captained by Joe Beneduce, having won the cup for the first time the year before, captained by Matt Hope. It has employed professionals including Matthew Mott, Ryan Harris, Martin van Jaarsveld, Jacques Rudolph, and Peter Fulton. The 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup was the seventh ICC Men's T20 World Cup tournament, with the matches played in the United Arab Emirates and Oman from 17 October to 14 November 2021. Joe Dawes
Joseph Henry Dawes (born 29 August 1970) is an Australian cricket coach and former player. He played for the Queensland Bulls in Australian domestic cricket as a right-arm fast bowler. He spent much of his early career in and out of the side due to the success of Michael Kasprowicz, Andy Bichel and Adam Dale. In 2001–02 he enjoyed his first full season when Kasprowicz got injured and Bichel returned to the Test side. He cemented his spot in the side and was a regular until a career ending knee injury in 2005. He finished as Queensland's eighth-highest wicket-taker of all time with 238 victims at 24.94 from his 64 matches. 2017 ICC World Cricket League Division Five
The 2017 ICC World Cricket League Division Five was an international cricket tournament that took place in Benoni, South Africa during September 2017. It formed part of the 2017–19 cycle of the World Cricket League (WCL) which determines the qualification for the 2023 Cricket World Cup. Jersey and the Netherlands were interested in hosting the tournament, but the International Cricket Council (ICC) awarded it to South Africa, due to the ease of securing visas for the teams involved. The teams were placed into two groups of four sides. Guernsey, Cayman Islands, Italy and Qatar are in Group A, and Germany, Ghana, Jersey and Vanuatu are in Group B. The 2013 ICC World Cricket League Division Three was a cricket tournament which took place from 28 April to 5 May 2013 in Bermuda. It formed part of the ICC World Cricket League and qualifying for the 2015 World Cup. Nepal were the pre-tournament favourites, but they lost against USA and Uganda in their first two matches. On the other hand, USA and Uganda made solid starts. Uganda remained unbeaten in their first four matches to comfortably secure one of the two available places in the 2014 World Cup Qualifier. The 2012 ICC World Twenty20 was the fourth ICC World Twenty20 competition, an international Twenty20 cricket tournament that took place in Sri Lanka from 18 September to 7 October 2012 which was won by the West Indies. The schedule has been posted by International Cricket Council (ICC). Damian Graham Crowley (born 20 May 1989) is a South African cricketer of Italian descent. He made his debut for the Italian national side in August 2010, and has since captained Italy at several tournaments. Crowley is a right-handed batsman who bowls slow left-arm orthodox spin. In cricket, a player's bowling average is the number of runs they have conceded per wicket taken. The lower the bowling average is, the better the bowler is performing. It is one of a number of statistics used to compare bowlers, commonly used alongside the economy rate and the strike rate to judge the overall performance of a bowler. Kenya National Cricket Team
The Kenya national cricket team represents the Republic of Kenya in international cricket. Kenya is an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) which has Twenty20 International (T20I) status after the ICC granted T20I status to all of their members. They have been an associate member of the ICC since 1981.
