Carl Fleury
Carl Fleury (born October 22, 1973) is a Canadian retired professional ice hockey player who played 10 seasons across the ECHL and LNAH who is the current head coach of the Trois-Rivières Caron et Guay of the LNAH. Playing career Born in Sainte-Claire, Quebec, Fleury spent the majority of his ECHL career as a member of the Johnstown Chiefs. Upon leaving the Chiefs in 2000, he joined St. Georges-de-Beauce Garaga, where he would play 4 seasons before leaving the team after the 2003-04 LNAH season. Coaching career Fleury would return to Saint Georges, Quebec to coach the Saint-Georges CRS Express, where he would lead the team to the Futura Cup. The former Saint-Georges Garaga - the team Fleury played for from 2000-2004 - were renamed the CRS Express after businessman Jean-Paul Blais bought the team in 2005. Quebec Citadelles
The Quebec Citadelles (French: ''Citadelles de Québec'') were a Minor ice hockey team in the American Hockey League. They played in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada at the Colisée Pepsi. The name refers to the Citadelle of Quebec, a landmark fortification in that city since the late 17th century. The Citadelles were a minor-league feeder team that developed players for the NHL's Montreal Canadiens organization. This AHL team was established in 1999 to much fanfare, and played with good fan support (and some success) for three seasons, before being relocated and merged into the Hamilton Bulldogs. The centre (or center in the United States) in ice hockey is a forward (hockey), forward position of a player whose primary Hockey rink#Zones, zone of play is the middle of the ice, away from the sideboards. ECHL
The ECHL (formerly the East Coast Hockey League) is a mid-level professional ice hockey league based in Shrewsbury, New Jersey, with teams scattered across the United States and Canada. It is a tier below the American Hockey League (AHL). Johnstown Chiefs
The Johnstown Chiefs were a minor league ice hockey team located in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, that played in the ECHL. The team was founded in 1987 in the All-American Hockey League, and moved to the East Coast Hockey League (now "ECHL") when that league was formed. The Chiefs lasted for 22 years in Johnstown, and was the last of the founding ECHL teams playing under its original name and in its original city. The Chiefs relocated to Greenville, South Carolina, following the completion of the 2010 season. Franchise history The owners originally wanted to name the team the Jets in honor of a team that had played in Johnstown from 1950 to 1977, mostly in the Eastern Hockey League. However, the old Jets' former owners still held the trademark for the name and refused to allow the new team to use it.
