Robin Trower
Robin Leonard Trower (born 9 March 1945) is an English rock guitarist who achieved success with Procol Harum throughout 1967–1971, and then again as the bandleader of his own power trio known as the Robin Trower Band. Biography Robin Trower was born in Catford, London, England, and grew up in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. In 1962, he formed a band that became the Paramounts, later including Westcliff High School pupil Gary Brooker. The Paramounts disbanded in 1966 to pursue individual projects. During this time, Trower created a local three-piece band called the Jam (not to be confused with The Jam, the later group with Paul Weller). Trower then joined Brooker's new band Procol Harum following the success of their debut single "A Whiter Shade of Pale" in 1967, remaining with them until 1971 and appearing on the group's first five albums. Bill Lordan
Bill Lordan (born May 22, 1947 in Minneapolis, MN), is an American rock music drummer who has been in a number of bands, such as The Mystics, Gypsy, Robin Trower Band and Sly & The Family Stone. He began playing in sixth grade when his teacher offered after-school lessons. Career Lordan started his recording career with The Amazers, The Mystics, The Esquires and Gypsy, a progressive rock band from Minnesota, recording three albums with them from 1971 to 1973. He also recorded with Bobby Womack and Ike and Tina Turner. He then joined Sly & The Family Stone. By 1974, Sly & The Family Stone released the album ''Small Talk''. Along with violinist Sid Page, The first drummer for Sly & The Family Stone was Greg Errico who was succeeded on the album ''Fresh'' by Andy Newmark. In late 1974, Lordan joined Robin Trower's band debuting on the album ''For Earth Below''. The Kent Music Report was a weekly record chart of Australian music singles and albums which was compiled by music enthusiast David Kent from May 1974 through to January 1999. The chart was re-branded the Australian Music Report (AMR) in July 1987. From June 1988, the Australian Recording Industry Association, which had been using the top 50 portion of the report under licence since mid-1983, chose to produce their own listing as the ARIA Charts. George Hardie (artist)
George Hardie (born 1944) is an English graphic designer, illustrator and educator, best known for his work producing cover art for the albums of rock musicians and bands with the British art design group Hipgnosis. After attending St. Martin’s and the Royal College of Art in London, Hardie partnered in Nicholas Thirkell Associates (NTA Studios) collaborating with Bob Lawrie, Bush Hollyhead and Malcolm Harrison, as well as Storm Thorgerson and Aubrey Powell of Hipgnosis. His work includes the cover artwork for Led Zeppelin's debut album, ''Led Zeppelin'' (1969); Pink Floyd's ''The Dark Side of the Moon'' (1973) and ''Wish You Were Here'' (1975); and Genesis' ''The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway'' (1974).
