''Capricho'' (English title: ''Caprice'') is a Mexican telenovela produced by Carlos Sotomayor for Televisa in 1993. Victoria Ruffo and Humberto Zurita starred as protagonists, while leading actress Diana Bracho starred as main antagonist. Plot Eugenia Montaño is a powerful and strong character that owns "Viñedos del Sol", a renowned vineyard that has been in her family for decades woman. She is married to Antonio Aranda, a writer of gentle and submissive and deeply in love with his wife character, with whom he has two daughters, the oldest is called Rachel and youngest's Cristina. Telenovela
A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Similar drama genres around the world include '' teleserye'' (Philippines), '' téléroman'' (Canada, specifically Quebec), and ''sinetron'' (Indonesia). Commonly described using the American colloquialism Spanish soap opera, many telenovelas share some stylistic and thematic similarities to the soap opera familiar to the English-speaking world. The significant difference is their series run length; telenovelas tell one self-contained story, typically within the span of a year or less whereas soap operas tend to have intertwined storylines told during indefinite, continuing runs. This makes them shorter than most other television series, but still much longer than a miniseries. Alejandro Tommasi (born Alejandro Casares Tommasi; August 14, 1957) is a Mexican television, stage and film actor. Personal life Tommasi is of Italian descent. Israel Jaitovich Cortés (born 12 August 1969 in Mexico City) is a Premios TVyNovelas award-winning Mexican actor, producer, writer and racing car driver. He produced and co-hosted the Televisa variety series '' Desmadruga2.'' Jaitovich began his acting career in 1991, in the role of Nicolas on the telenovela '' Capricho'', and has appeared on further Televisa programs, some of which have aired on Univision in the United States. His other Televisa appearances, mostly on the Canal de las Estrellas, were in '' Amada Enemiga'', '' La Mentira'', '' Infierno en el Paraiso'', and ''Otro Rollo''.
