The canton of Pélissanne is an administrative division of the Bouches-du-Rhône department, in southeastern France. At the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015, it was expanded from 8 to 13 communes. Its seat is in Pélissanne. The cantons of France are territorial subdivisions of the France, French Republic's Departments of France, departments and Arrondissements of France, arrondissements. Éguilles (; oc, Agulha )The most probable Occitan name is Agulha but, according to other sources, it may be ''Aguilha''. is a commune in the Bouches-du-Rhône department in southern France. It is halfway between Saint-Cannat and Aix-en-Provence. History Tracks of an early settlement dating back to the 3rd century BC have been found. However, it appears that in 124BC those tracks were destroyed. In the 16th century, there were attacks from Aix-en-Provence and Les Baux-de-Provence, and the Castle was destroyed. In 1790 there were 180 inhabitants, mostly shepherds. In the 19th century many inhabitants left owing to the Industrial Revolution. By 1936 there were only 730 inhabitants. La Roque-d'Anthéron (; Provençal: ''La Ròca d'Antarron'') is a commune in the Bouches-du-Rhône department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in Southern France. La Barben
La Barben (; oc, La Barbent) is a commune in the Bouches-du-Rhône department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of southern France. The inhabitants of the commune are known as ''Barbenais'' or ''Barbenaises''. The town is perhaps best known for its castle and its zoo. Geography La Barben is located about 18 km northwest of Aix-en-Provence and 5 km east of Salon-de-Provence. Access to the commune is by the D572 road from Salon-de-Provence, which passes through the centre of the commune and continues east to Saint-Cannat. Aurons () is a commune in the Bouches-du-Rhône department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of southern France. The inhabitants of the commune are known as ''Auronais'' or ''Auronaises''.
