Candidstraße
Candidstraße is an inner-city street in Munich and a section of the '' Mittlerer Ring''. Location Candidstraße is located in the Munich district Untergiesing in the district 18, Untergiesing-Harlaching. It connects Brudermühlstraße with Tegernseer Landstraße. Course Candidstraße connects seven lanes to the Brudermühlbrücke bridge. Of the four lanes running in the eastern direction, the outer two become turning lanes to Candidplatz, in the opposite direction there is an access lane from Candidplatz. This leaves four lanes for the continuous part of the ''Mittlerer Ring''. At Candidplatz, Candidstraße is connected to the Pilgersheimer Straße - Schönstraße axis, which runs roughly parallel to the Isar in a north-south direction. Tegernseer Landstraße
The Tegernseer Landstraße (nicknamed TeLa) is a street in the Obergiesing borough of Munich, Germany, which runs in a southeastern direction and is a total of 4.6 kilometers long. It begins in the north as a straight extension of the Regerstraße, where it is a regular two-lane road until the Tegernseer Platz. At the Tegernseer Platz, a large branch of the Deutsche Post can be found. The building, nicknamed ''Tela-Post'', was built in 1928 in the architectural style New Objectivity. The Hertie-store (which was for many years Karstadt), which was located at the Tegernseer Platz until the summer of 2009, was closed because of insolvency and demolished in 2010. Between 1976 and 2016, a branch of the city library was located across the street. Untergiesing-Harlaching (Central Bavarian: ''Untagiasing-Harlaching'') is the 18th borough of Munich, Germany, mostly the districts of Untergiesing and Harlaching. Auer Mühlbach
Auer Mühlbach is a river in Bavaria, Germany. It is a branch of the Isar in the southern part of Munich. History Long before the "official" founding of the city of Munich, the water power of the Isar was used for the operation of mills. Since the Isar was a wild mountain river and until its increasing regulation from the 19th century on, it frequently changed its course and showed strong level fluctuations. The mill wheels in the Munich area were not built at the unpredictable main branch, but at a regulable, artificially diverted side branch with as constant a water flow as possible, the ''Mühlbach''. The first written mention of the stream and a mill at ''Kiesingenum'' (today Untergiesing) is found in a document from the year 957. Hairpin Turn
A hairpin turn (also hairpin bend or hairpin corner) is a bend in a road with a very acute inner angle, making it necessary for an oncoming vehicle to turn about 180° to continue on the road. It is named for its resemblance to a bent metal hairpin. Such turns in ramps and trails may be called switchbacks in American English, by analogy with switchback railways.
