Campeonato De Apertura (Chile)
The Campeonato de Apertura (''Opening Championship'') was an annual competition for Chilean football teams at the beginning of the season. It was played from 1933 to 1950, but didn't have regularity through years, not being played in 1935, 1936, 1939, 1943, 1945, 1946 and 1948. The Campeonato de Apertura was sometimes disputed in a knock-out system, other times in a mini-league system. It is considered as the precursor of Copa Chile, Chile's official cup competition that started in 1958. Nowadays, there are in Chilean football two national league competitions per year, one of them called Torneo de Apertura (''Opening Tournament''). In spite of its name, it has nothing to do with the former ''Campeonato'' initiated in 1933. Copa Chile
The Copa Chile (''Chile Cup'') is an annual cup competition for Chilean football teams. Due to time constraints and club pressure, the trophy was cancelled in 2000, but returned in 2008. Its precursor was the Campeonato de Apertura (''Opening Championship''), played from 1933 to 1950. The cup is now open to every member club of the Chilean football league system, from professional teams; ( Primera División, Primera B & Segunda División), down to teams from the ANFA: Tercera División. Since the season 2009, the winners obtained a direct Copa Sudamericana spot for the next season, however this was change starting from the 2015 edition; since then the winners obtains a direct Copa Libertadores spot for the next season. Club Social y Deportivo Colo-Colo () is a Chilean professional football club based in Macul, Santiago. Founded in 1925 by David Arellano they play in the Chilean Primera División, from which they have never been relegated. Club Unión Española S.A.D.P. is a professional association football, football club based in the Independencia, Chile, Independencia neighborhood, commune of Santiago, Chile. Deportes Magallanes
Deportes Magallanes is a Chilean Football team based in San Bernardo, Chile. They will play in the Primera División de Chile starting from 2023 after winning the 2022 Primera B championship. The club was founded on October 27, 1897 with the name Atlético Escuela Normal F.C.. In 1933 they became the first national champions of Chile. They won a hat trick of titles in the formative years of Chilean football (1933, 1934 and 1935) but their last major title came in 1938. Audax Club Sportivo Italiano () is a Chilean football club based in La Florida. Badminton FC
Badminton is a racquet sport played using racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net. Although it may be played with larger teams, the most common forms of the game are "singles" (with one player per side) and "doubles" (with two players per side). Deportes Iberia is a Chilean football club based in Los Ángeles that currently plays in Primera B (second-tier). The club hold its home games at Estadio Municipal de Los Ángeles which has a capacity of 5,000 spectators. In 1933, the club was officially established as Deportes Iberia, basing in Conchalí (Santiago). Santiago Wanderers
Club de Deportes Santiago Wanderers is a football club based in Valparaíso, a founding member of the Chilean Football Federation. Their home ground, Estadio Elías Figueroa Brander, is in the north-west of the city. Wanderers have played their games there since 1931 after moving from Barrio Puerto.
