Treze Futebol Clube is a Brazilian football team from Campina Grande in Paraíba, founded on September 7, 1925. Historically, the club has competed in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A several times. Recently, the club has competed only in lower divisions of the national league, the Copa do Brasil, the regional Copa do Nordeste and the Paraíba State Championship The main rival of Treze is Campinense, another traditional football club from Campina Grande. They have a long-standing rivalry, being collectively known as the Maiorais. This is considered as the most important derby in the countryside of Brazil. Auto Esporte Clube, also known as Auto Esporte, is a Brazilian football team from João Pessoa, Paraíba. They compete in the Série C once, in the Copa do Brasil twice, and won the Campeonato Paraibano several times. History Auto Esporte Clube was founded on September 7, 1936, by taxi drivers from João Pessoa city. They won the Campeonato Paraibano in 1939, 1956, 1958, 1987, 1990, and in 1992. União was eliminated in the first stage in the Green module of the Copa João Havelange in 2000. The club competed in the 1991, Copa do Brasil, when they were eliminated in the first stage by Grêmio of Rio Grande do Sul state. They competed in the Série C in 1992, reaching the second stage of the competition. The Revolution of 1930 () was an armed insurrection across Brazil that ended the Old Republic. The revolution replaced incumbent President Washington Luís with defeated presidential candidate and revolutionary leader Getúlio Vargas, concluding the political hegemony of a four-decade-old oligarchy and beginning the Vargas Era. For most of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Brazilian politics had been controlled by an alliance between the states of São Paulo and Minas Gerais. The presidency had largely alternated between the two states every election until 1929, when incumbent President Washington Luís declared his successor to be Júlio Prestes, both of them from São Paulo.
