Campbell River Storm
The Campbell River Storm are a Junior "B" ice hockey team based in Campbell River, British Columbia, Canada. They are members of the North Division of the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League (VIJHL). The Storm play their home games at Rod Brind'Amour Arena. Lee Stone has been the coach since 2013. They are captained by defenceman Kyle Jennings. The Storm joined the league in 1997 as an expansion team. In its VIJHL history, the team has won the Cyclone Taylor Cup twice, in 1999 and 2015. The Storm have won the Brent Patterson Memorial Trophy ten times in 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2015, 2017 and 2018. They won the Andy Hebenton Trophy seven times, as the team with the league's best regular season record in 1997, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2018. Campbell River, British Columbia
Campbell River, or Wiwek̓a̱m, is a city in British Columbia on the east coast of Vancouver Island at the south end of Discovery Passage, which lies along the 50th parallel north along the important Inside Passage shipping route. The Beaver Valley Nitehawks are a junior 'B' ice hockey team based in Fruitvale, British Columbia, Canada. They are members of the Neil Murdoch Division of the Kootenay Conference of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL). The Nitehawks play their home games at Beaver Valley Arena. Stephen Piccolo is the team's president and Terry Jones is the general manager and coach since 2015. They are currently co-captained by forward Morgan Peace and Angus Amadio who were awardedd a bursary in 2020. The Nitehawks joined the league in 1981 as an expansion team. The Kimberley Dynamiters are a Junior "B" Ice Hockey team based in Kimberley, British Columbia, Canada. They are members of the Eddie Mountain Division of the Kootenay Conference of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL). They play their home games at Kimberley Civic Centre. The team began play in 1991, in the Rocky Mountain Junior Hockey League. Kimberley also had a team, the Knights, in the KIJHL between 1972 and 1989. History The Kimberley Dynamiters name was previously used by Kimberley's now defunct senior hockey clubs that played in the WKHL, the ABCSL, and the WIHL between 1932 and 1981. The North Vancouver Wolf Pack is a Junior "B" ice hockey team based in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. They are members of the Tom Shaw Conference of the Pacific Junior Hockey League (PJHL). The Wolf Pack play their home games at Harry Jerome Arena in North Vancouver. History The team was founded in 2008 in Squamish, British Columbia as the Squamish Wolf Pack until relocating to North Vancouver in 2011. The Westshore Wolves are a Junior B Ice Hockey team based in Colwood, British Columbia, Canada. They are a member of the South Division of the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League. The Wolves entered the VIJHL in 2012, replacing a former franchise, the Westshore Stingers. Victoria Cougars
The Victoria Cougars were a major league professional ice hockey team that played in the Pacific Coast Hockey Association (PCHA) from 1911 to 1924 under various names, and (after the PCHA's merger with the Western Canada Hockey League) in the Western Hockey League (WHL) from 1924 to 1926. The team was based in Victoria, British Columbia and won the Stanley Cup in 1925, becoming the final non-NHL team to win the Cup.
