Cal Poly Pomona Broncos Men's Basketball
The Cal Poly Pomona Broncos men's basketball team is the college basketball program representing California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona). The Broncos play in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) in NCAA Division II. Cal Poly Pomona won its first NCAA championship in 2010 and has appeared in 14 NCAA Tournaments. It has been described to as a "powerhouse" due to its strong historical record. The Broncos presently play their home games in Kellogg Gymnasium, with a capacity of 4,765 for basketball. California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona, CPP, or Cal Poly"Cal Poly" may also refer to California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in San Luis Obispo. Angelo Constantin Tsagarakis (alternate spellings: Angelos, Aggelos, Tsagkarakis) (Greek: Άγγελος Τσαγκαράκης; born June 3, 1984) is a retired French-Greek professional basketball player who played both point guard and shooting guard. Tsagarakis played college basketball at Oregon State University, with the Oregon Beavers, and at Cal Poly Pomona, with the Cal Poly Pomona Broncos. Terrence Drisdom
Terrence Lee Drisdom (born July 30, 1992) is an American professional basketball player for the Rayos de Hermosillo of the CIBACOPA. Drisdom played college basketball at Cal Poly Pomona. He was named the CCAA Player of the Year as a senior after averaging 15.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.4 steals per game. For the 2018–19 season, Drisdom signed with the Memphis Hustle of the NBA G League. He was waived by the Hustle on December 7, 2018, after appearing in five games. In the summers of 2016 and 2017, Drisdom played in The Basketball Tournament on ESPN for Team Utah (Utah Alumni). He competed for the $2 million prize, and for Team Utah in 2017, he averaged 21 points per game and shot 81 percent behind the free-throw line. Jeff Bonds (born May 14, 1982 in Los Angeles, California, U.S.) is an American professional basketball player, currently plays in the LEB Gold, for the Lobe Huesca. He previously played for Bàsquet Muro and Viopisa Gijón at the Silver level of the Liga Española de Baloncesto, in the British Basketball League for the Birmingham Bullets and the Sheffield Sharks and later in Bàsquet Mallorca in LEB Gold.
