Ayrton Cable
Ayrton Cable (born 10 January 2003) is a social activist, known for his activism on issues surrounding food and water security. In 2012 he screened a film about food labelling and animal welfare to an invited audience in the Palace of Westminster. The film, entitled ''How was this Animal Kept?'', was professionally produced at Hampton Court House School with the help of Mexican film director Alejandro Sesma and the EU labelling project manager at the Farm Animal Welfare Forum, Ffinlo Costain. Cable is a pupil at the school. In June 2014 Cable founded the Humanitarian Water and Food Youth Award, (WAFA Youth) raising awareness of issues relating to poverty and in particular food and water security. George Washington Cable (October 12, 1844 – January 31, 1925) was an American novelist notable for the realism of his portrayals of Creole life in his native New Orleans, Louisiana. He has been called "the most important southern artist working in the late 19th century", as well as "the first modern Southern writer." In his treatment of racism, mixed-race families and miscegenation, his fiction has been thought to anticipate that of William Faulkner. He also wrote articles critical of contemporary society. Sir James Eric Sydney Cable (15 November 1920 – 27 September 2001) was a British diplomat and naval strategic thinker. As an author, he became well known for a series of his works published between 1971 and 1994 about gunboat diplomacy. Stuart James Cable (19 May 1970 – 7 June 2010) was a Welsh rock drummer and broadcaster, best known as the original drummer for the band Stereophonics. Thomas Lee Cable Jr. (born November 26, 1964) is an American football coach who last was the offensive line coach for the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). Sir John Vincent Cable (born 9 May 1943) is a British politician who was Leader of the Liberal Democrats from 2017 to 2019.
