CZW Ultraviolent Underground Championship
The CZW Ultraviolent Underground Championship was a professional hardcore wrestling championship owned by the Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) promotion. The title was introduced on February 5, 2005 at CZW's Only the Strong event. It has since been retired after being unified with the CZW World Heavyweight Championship. Overall, there have been 18 reigns shared among 12 wrestlers. Title reigns are determined either by professional wrestling matches between wrestlers involved in pre-existing scripted feuds and storylines, or by scripted circumstances. Wrestlers are portrayed as either villains or heroes as they follow a series of tension-building events, which culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches for the championship. Title changes happen mostly at CZW-promoted events, which are usually released on DVD. Danny Havoc
Grant Amos Berkland (May 19, 1986 – May 31, 2020), better known by his ring name Danny Havoc, was an American professional wrestler. He was best known for his work in Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), and was noted for mixing his technical style with hardcore wrestling. In CZW, he was a two-time World Tag Team Champion (with Devon Moore and Lucky 13), two-time Ultraviolent Underground Champion, a one-time World Junior Heavyweight Champion and won Tournament of Death on two occasions. He announced his retirement at Tournament of Death 16, and wrestled his final match on September 9, 2017, which was covered on an episode of ''The Wrestlers''. He also wrestled for Game Changer Wrestling (GCW), Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw), Big Japan Pro Wrestling (BJW), IWA Mid-South, IWA East Coast, and IWA Deep-South. Heel (professional Wrestling)
In professional wrestling, a heel (also known as a ''rudo'' in '' lucha libre'') is a wrestler who portrays a villain, "bad guy", or "rulebreaker", and acts as an antagonist to the faces, who are the heroic protagonist or "good guy" characters. Not everything a heel wrestler does must be villainous: heels need only to be booed or jeered by the audience to be effective characters, although most truly successful heels embrace other aspects of their devious personalities, such as cheating to win or using foreign objects. Many types of wrestling matches, sometimes called "concept" or " gimmick matches" in the jargon of the business, are performed in professional wrestling. CZW Tournament Of Death
The Tournament of Death is an annual professional wrestling tournament organized by Combat Zone Wrestling since 2002, during which a number of wrestlers compete in various deathmatches in what are mostly single-elimination tournaments similar to World Wrestling Entertainment's King of the Ring tournament. These tournaments include the typical hardcore weapons used in hardcore wrestling, deathmatch wrestling such as barbed wire, nail (fastener), nails, thumbtacks, fire, table (furniture), tables, ladders, and Fluorescent lamp, light tubes, and are known for all their large amounts of blood loss. New Castle, Delaware
New Castle is a city in New Castle County, Delaware, United States. The city is located six miles (10 km) south of Wilmington and is situated on the Delaware River. A house show or live event is a professional wrestling event produced by a major promotion that is not televised, though they can be recorded. Promotions use house shows mainly to cash in on the exposure that they and their wrestlers receive during televised events, as well as to test reactions to matches, wrestlers, and gimmicks that are being considered for the main televised programming and upcoming pay-per-views. House shows are entire events and not the same as dark matches—untelevised matches that occur as part of an event that was already being televised. John Zandig
John Corson (born April 4, 1971), better known by the ring name John Zandig, is an American professional wrestler and promoter. He is the founder and former owner of the promotion Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW). Early life Corson was born in Sewell, New Jersey. Before he was a professional wrestler, Corson was an explosives and demolition expert. Professional wrestling career Corson began training as a wrestler in 1994 and adopted the ring name John Zandig in 1999. Marvin Lambert (December 14, 1977 – October 18, 2012) was an American professional wrestler best known by his ring name Brain Damage. Brain Damage competed for a number of different promotions throughout his career, but is best known for his work in Independent Wrestling Association Mid-South (IWA Mid-South) and Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW).
