Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a British public sector healthcare provider located in Cambridge, England. It was established on 4 November 1992 as Addenbrooke's National Health Service Trust, and authorised as an NHS foundation trust under its current name on 1 July 2004. The Trust provides healthcare for people in the Cambridge area, in eastern England, and specialist services such as transplantation, treatment of rare cancers and neurological intensive care for a much wider area. It is located on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus and runs Addenbrooke's Hospital and the Rosie Hospital. It is a member of the Shelford Group, an informal organisation of ten leading English university teaching hospitals. Cork University Hospital ( ga, Ospidéal na hOllscoile Corcaigh) is a large university teaching hospital in Wilton, Cork in Ireland. Its academic partner is University College Cork. It is the only Level 1 Trauma Centre in Ireland. It is a public hospital managed by the South/Southwest Hospital Group, a part of the Health Service Executive. History The hospital officially opened as Cork Regional Hospital in November 1978. A new Regional Cancer Centre opened in December 2009 and a new Cardiac Renal Centre, built at a cost of €85 million, opened in October 2010. Services The hospital has 800 beds. Copper Hydride
Copper hydride is inorganic compound with the chemical formula CuHn where n ~ 0.95. It is a red solid, rarely isolated as a pure composition, that decomposes to the elements. Copper hydride is mainly produced as a reducing agent in organic synthesis and as a precursor to various catalysts. History In 1844, the French chemist Adolphe Wurtz synthesised copper hydride for the first time. He reduced an aqueous solution of copper(II) sulfate with hypophosphorous acid (H3PO2). In 2011, Panitat Hasin and Yiying Wu were the first to synthesise a metal hydride (copper hydride) using the technique of sonication. Copper hydride has the distinction of being the first metal hydride discovered. In 2013, it was established by Donnerer et al. that, at least up to fifty gigapascals, copper hydride cannot be synthesised by pressure alone.
