Club de Soccer Saint-Laurent is a Canadian semi-professional soccer club based in Saint-Laurent, Quebec that plays in Ligue1 Québec. History Established as a youth soccer club, the club was founded in 1982. As part of their 40th anniversary in 2022, the club unveiled a new logo, incorporating several elements of their arrondissement's coat of arms and logo while preserving the shape of its old coat of arms – the crown at the top symbolizing the coat of arms of Saint-Laurent, the three points of the latter refer to the three spheres of the Borough's emblem, representing the three main cultural communities at the time of its creation (the French, English and Jewish populations), and the triangular shape in the centre representing mountain peaks. The 2023 Ligue1 Québec season is the twelfth season of play for the Ligue1 Québec (and the first since rebranding from the Première ligue de soccer du Québec). L1Q is a division three semi-professional soccer league in the Canadian soccer league system and the highest level of soccer based in the Canadian province of Québec. FC Laval competed in the 2023 Canadian Championship as the league's representative as 2022 league champions. The 2024 Canadian Championship () will be the seventeenth edition of the Canadian Championship, the premier men's domestic cup competition in Canadian soccer, and the 23rd competition staged to determine the winner of the Voyageurs Cup.
