CAF Confederation Cup 2014
The 2014 CAF Confederation Cup (also known as the 2014 Orange CAF Confederation Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the 11th edition of the CAF Confederation Cup, Africa's secondary club football competition organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). The defending champions CS Sfaxien did not enter the tournament as they qualified for the 2014 CAF Champions League and reached the group stage. In the final, Al-Ahly of Egypt defeated Séwé Sport of Côte d'Ivoire on the away goals rule after drawing 2–2 on aggregate, to win their first title, and a record-extending 19th overall African title (having already won eight African Champions Cup/CAF Champions League titles, six CAF Super Cup titles and four African Cup Winners' Cup titles). The African Cup Winners' Cup was a football competition that started in 1975 and merged with the CAF Cup in 2004 to form the CAF Confederation Cup. It was a competition between the winning clubs of domestic cups in CAF-affiliated nations and was modelled after the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup. 2010–11 Egyptian Premier League
The 2010–11 Egyptian Premier League is the fifty-fourth season of the Egyptian Premier League since its establishment in 1948. It began on 5 August 2010 and ended on 11 July 2011. The league was suspended on 27 January 2011 due to the Egyptian Revolution and resumed on 13 April 2011. A total of 16 teams are contesting the league including six-time defending champions Al-Ahly S.C. who have won thirty-five times in total. The Tunisian Cup , officially named the President's Cup, is the official competition of the Cup in Tunisian football and is considered the second most important local title after the Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle 1. The first cup competition was held in the 1922-1923 season during the French occupation. The first final was played after independence in the season of 1955 - 1956 and won by Stade Tunisien. The tournament has been held annually since then except for the 1978 season due to the participation of the national team in the World Cup Argentina, and did not complete in 2002 due to the participation of the national team in the World Cup Japan and South Korea.
