Yuen Long
Yuen Long is a town in the western New Territories, Hong Kong. To its west lie Hung Shui Kiu (), Tin Shui Wai, Lau Fau Shan and Ha Tsuen, to the south Shap Pat Heung and Tai Tong, to the east Au Tau and Kam Tin (), and to the north Nam Sang Wai. Name The Cantonese name Yuen Long may refer to the limits of the original market town, Yuen Long New Town, Yuen Long Plain or Yuen Long District. Market town The central part of Yuen Long was traditionally a market town, in the area now known as Yuen Long San Hui (), in Yuen Long District, where people from the surrounding villages sold their crops and fish. Castle Peak Road
Castle Peak Road is the longest road in Hong Kong. Completed in 1920, it runs in the approximate shape of an arc of a semi-circle. It runs West from Tai Po Road in Sham Shui Po, New Kowloon, to Tuen Mun, then north to Yuen Long then east to Sheung Shui, in the very north of the New Territories. It is divided into 22 sections. It serves south, west and north New Territories, being one of the most distant roads in early Hong Kong. Name The road was named after Castle Peak, a peak in the western New Territories. Sai Pin Wai (), sometimes transliterated as Sai Bin Wai, is a walled village in the Yuen Long Kau Hui area of Yuen Long District, Hong Kong. Administration Sai Pin Wai is a recognized village under the New Territories Small House Policy. For electoral purposes, Sai Pin Wai is located in the Shap Pat Heung North constituency of the Yuen Long District Council. Yuen Long Station
Yuen Long () is an MTR station in the north-eastern part of Yuen Long Town, New Territories, Hong Kong, on the between and . It is an interchange between the and Yuen Long stop of the system. History Yuen Long and Long Ping station were built under a combined contract, numbered CC-202, which was awarded to the AMEC-Hong Kong Construction Joint Venture. Tai Kei Leng () is a village in Shap Pat Heung, Yuen Long District, Hong Kong.
