Goerke Field
Goerke Field is a stadium in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. It is primarily used for American football and is the home to the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point Pointers, the Stevens Point Area Senior High School Panthers, and the Pacelli High School Cardinals. Until the 1980s, Goerke Field's stands consisted of a concrete grandstand on only the north side, for all fans, with press and coach boxes. The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) is a college athletic conference that competes in the NCAA's Division III. Kirk Baumgartner
Kirk Baumgartner (born November 3, 1967) is an American football player. He is the fourth son to James and Patricia Baumgartner. He joined brothers Brian, Brad, and Kevin. Another son, Keith, was born later. Baumgartner attended Colby High School and went on to attend University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point. At UW–Stevens Point, Baumgartner was a three-time First Team NAIA All-American, and arguably the best quarterback in National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics history. Bob Bostad
Bob Bostad (born September 7, 1966) is the run game coordinator and offensive line coach for Indiana University. Education Bostad graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 1989 with a degree in Physical Education. In 1994, he received his master's degree in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota. Coaching career Bostad's first coaching job was as Offensive Line Coach at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point from 1990 to 1991. From there he served in the same position at California State University, Northridge before becoming a graduate assistant at the University of Minnesota. Theodore Leo Fritsch (October 31, 1920 – October 4, 1979) was an American baseball, basketball, and football player who played running back for the National Football League's Green Bay Packers from 1942 to 1950. He also played two seasons for the Oshkosh All-Stars of the National Basketball League. Clint Kriewaldt
Clint Kriewaldt (born March 16, 1976) is a former American football linebacker. He was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the sixth round of the 1999 NFL Draft. He played college football at Wisconsin–Stevens Point. Professional career His first four seasons in the NFL were spent with the Detroit Lions, where he spent most of his time as a backup and on special teams. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers from 2003–2007. He made the opening tackle in Super Bowl XL against the Seattle Seahawks. On February 22, 2008 the Steelers released him; Kriewaldt's career was reportedly in jeopardy due to an injury.
