Warsaw Cup
The Warsaw Cup is an annual international figure skating competition which is generally held in November in Warsaw, Poland. Its senior categories became part of the ISU Challenger Series in the 2014–15 season. Medals may be awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. A figure skating competition is a judged sports competition in figure skating. Types of figure skating competitions International International competitions sanctioned by the International Skating Union (ISU) are governed by the union's rules. Anton Shulepov
Anton Anatolyevich Shulepov (russian: Антон Анатольевич Шулепов, born 30 March 1996) is a Russian figure skater. He has won three international medals – silver at the 2015 CS Warsaw Cup, 2016 CS Tallinn Trophy, and 2016 International Cup of Nice. Career Shulepov trained in Vladimir Oblast until 2013 when he moved to Saint Petersburg, becoming a student of Evgeni Rukavicin. He ranked seventh at the 2015 Russian Championships. 2015–2016 season In the 2015–16 season, Shulepov placed 5th at the 2015 CS Ice Challenge. Later in the season he won his first ISU Challenger Series medal when he was a silver medalist at the 2015 CS Warsaw Cup. He was in the lead after the short program but eventually lost the gold medal to Alexander Samarin by 1.75 points. 2020 CS Warsaw Cup
The 2020 CS Warsaw Cup was scheduled to be held in November 2020 in Warsaw, Poland. It was part of the 2020–21 ISU Challenger Series. Medals would have been awarded in the disciplines of men's and ladies' singles. On October 10, 2020, the Polish Figure Skating Association released information for competitors regarding traveling to Poland during the COVID-19 pandemic. As with the prior two Challenger events, only European skaters were entered for the event. The ice dance portion of the event was cancelled on November 6. The event was cancelled entirely on November 10, after a large number of withdrawals in men's singles significantly reduced the number of countries. Lee June-hyoung (Hangul:이준형) (born October 28, 1996) is a South Korean former competitive figure skater. He is the 2014 JGP France champion and a three-time South Korean national champion (2013, 2015, 2016). He is the first South Korean male figure skater who stood on the podium and won gold at ISU events. Also, he is the first Korean male skater to qualify for the ISU Junior Grand Prix Final. Petr Olegovich Gumennik (russian: Пётр Олегович Гуменник, born 11 April 2002) is a Russian figure skater. He is the 2020 Rostelecom Cup bronze medalist and 2019 CS Warsaw Cup silver medalist. Daniel Grassl (born 4 April 2002) is an Italian figure skater. He is the 2022 European silver medalist, the 2022 MK John Wilson Trophy champion, the 2019 World Junior bronze medalist, and a four-time Italian national champion (2019–2022). Liam Firus (born July 2, 1992) is a Canadian retired figure skater. He is the 2016 Triglav Trophy champion and a three-time Canadian national medallist (silver in 2016, bronze in 2014–15).
