TV3 (Sweden)
TV3 (''TV tre'') is a Swedish pay television channel owned by Viaplay Group. It was launched on 31 December 1987 by businessman Jan Stenbeck. The channel was initially broadcast across all of Scandinavia. In 1990, separate Danish and Norwegian feeds were launched. The channel's name refers to its launch at a time when television in Sweden was dominated by the two channels of SVT. History TV3 was launched on December 31, 1987 and was the first commercial channel to broadcast in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. The channel was transmitted from London, in order to circumvent legislation that prohibited advertising being broadcast on Swedish television. TV3 was one of the first channels to be broadcast on the Astra 1A satellite when that launched in 1989; in addition, TV3 Sweden became available through cable television in many cities. ITV Tyne Tees, previously known as Tyne Tees, Channel 3 North East and Tyne Tees Television, is the ITV television franchise for North East England and parts of North Yorkshire. ITV is a British free-to-air public broadcast television network. It was launched in 1955 as Independent Television to provide competition to BBC Television (established in 1936). ITV is the oldest commercial network in the UK. BBC Three is a British free-to-air public broadcast television channel owned and operated by the BBC. It was first launched on 9 February 2003 with programmes targeting 16 to 34-year-olds, covering all genres including animation, comedy, current affairs, and drama series. Canal 3 Colonia is an Uruguayan television station that broadcasts from Colonia del Sacramento for that city and part of Buenos Aires on channel 3. El Tres (call sign LT 83 TV) is an Argentine private, over-the-air television station broadcasting from Rosario, province of Santa Fe. Channel 3 is operated by Grupo Televisión Litoral alongside two radio stations, Plus FM on 93.1 MHz FM and Radio 2 on 1230 kHz AM. History LT 83 TV received its federal license in August 1964 and signed on June 20, 1965, some years after shareholders explored the foundation of a television station. It moved its studios several times in the 1960s and early 1970s to cope with a growing demand for television in the region. TV3 Winchester was a subchannel service of Harrisonburg, Virginia-based television station WHSV-TV, programmed as a standalone, primarily-cable station serving as the ABC and secondary This TV affiliate for nearby Winchester, Virginia from 2007 to 2013. TV3 is a Ghanaian free-to-air television network in Ghana. Launched in 1997 by Malaysian company Sistem Televisyen Malaysia Berhad, TV3 airs and produces a variety of television programmes including acclaimed news bulletins, dramas and successful reality television and entertainment shows. TVR3
TVR 3 ( ro, TVR Trei, ) is the sixth channel of the Romanian public broadcaster, launched on 10 October 2008. It is a generalist channel, centered on reflecting regional events. It will use reports from all of its territorial (regional) studios ( București, Cluj, Craiova, Iaşi, Târgu-Mureş, and Timişoara). The channel will not have specific time slots for all the regional studios, nor will it broadcast on a regional level. It will broadcast nationwide the same regional report. TV-3 (also known as TV-3 Russia) is a Russian television channel focused on entertainment. It mainly broadcasts TV series in mystery, science fiction and fantasy genres.
