Sat.1
Sat.1 is a German free-to-air television channel that is a part of the ProSiebenSat.1 Media Group. It is considered the first privately owned television network in Germany, having been launched in January 1984 as ''PKS'' ''(Programmgesellschaft für Kabel- und Satellitenrundfunk)'', initially a joint venture of various publishing houses, and was rebranded as Sat.1 in January 1985. The first broadcast could only be seen by roughly 1200 households who had cable access in the city of Ludwigshafen. Early programs included old films (mainly from the archives of KirchMedia) American hit series and game shows (the most notable show being the German version of ''Wheel of Fortune'', ''Glücksrad''). Later, the station acquired a name for its original series and TV films. Pay-TV sister channel ''Sat.1 Emotions'' (formerly '' Sat.1 Comedy'') airs comedy, romance and movies. ProSieben
ProSieben (, ''sieben'' is German for "seven"; often stylized as Pro7) is a German free-to-air television network owned by ProSiebenSat.1 Media. It was launched on 1 January 1989. It is Germany's second-largest privately owned television company. Although ProSieben produces some of its programming itself, it also airs many American imports. On 3 May 2012, the network launched a pay-TV channel called ProSieben Fun. A third channel called ProSieben Maxx started broadcasting on 3 September 2013. The three different feeds of the channel are: ProSieben (for Germany), ProSieben Austria (for Austria), and ProSieben Schweiz (for Switzerland and Liechtenstein). ProSieben Fun
ProSieben Fun is a pay-TV channel from ProSiebenSat.1 Media that was launched on 3 May 2012. The channel targets 14-39 year olds. ProSieben Fun shows repeats of ProSieben and Sat.1 shows, plus exclusive premieres (including ''Germany's Next Top Model''), movies, series, sport, and music events. Distribution The channel is broadcast as a simulcast and can be received via Telekom Entertain as well as Kabel Deutschland, Unitymedia, UPC Switzerland and Magine TV. Until 1 July 2016, the channel was also available via Sky Deutschland. On 18 May 2016 ProSiebenSat.1 Media announced that it would cease broadcasting on the Sky platform as of 30 June 2016 due to "different strategic orientations". ProSieben Maxx
ProSieben Maxx is a German free-to-air channel owned by ProSiebenSat.1. The channel started broadcasting on 3 September 2013 with the movie '' Captain America: The First Avenger'' at 8:15 p.m. On 30 July 2013 ProSieben Maxx received a DVB-T broadcasting licence for the region of Munich. On 13 August 2013 the channel started a test program on these frequencies and broadcast some program trailers. It is ProSiebenSat.1's sixth channel. Programming Prime time The channel mainly targets male viewers aged between 30 and 59. Some series like ''Episodes'', ''Homeland'' and ''House of Cards'' are shown in the original English-language version with German subtitles. No payment is required needed the original versions. kabel eins classics is a German pay-tv channel owned by ProSiebenSat.1 Media. A sister channel of kabel eins it first went on air on 1 June 2006. It broadcasts 24 hours a day, mainly films and series from the 1940s to the late 1990s. On Saturdays, films from the 2000s are shown. Programming Kabel eins classics shows films, series and exclusive in-house productions. Broadcasts include Star Trek, The Andromeda Strain, A Foreign Affair and Clear and Present Danger. In addition, series such as The Streets of San Francisco, Vega$, The A-Team and Miami Vice. Unterföhring
Unterföhring is a municipality in Upper Bavaria. It lies adjacent to the northeast side of Munich, and is one of the nearest suburbs to Munich's central district.
