Nyenrode Business University
Nyenrode Business Universiteit (abbreviated as ''NBU''; nl, Nyenrode Business Universiteit) is a Dutch business university and one of the five private universities in the Netherlands. Founded in 1946, it is located on a large estate in the town of Breukelen, between Amsterdam and Utrecht. The educational institution is named after the castle where the course is located: . Nyenrode was founded under the name of the ''Netherlands Training Institute for Abroad'' (NOIB in Dutch) by renowned private Dutch companies, including KLM, Shell, Unilever, Philips and AkzoNobel with an objective- 'For Business, By Business'. The establishment was the result of an idea from KLM director Albert Plesman. Hein Verbruggen (21 June 1941 – 14 June 2017) was a Dutch sports administrator who was president of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) from 1991 till 2005 and president of SportAccord from 2004 to 2013. He was an honorary member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) since 2008.
